2 Speedy Flood Brothers Mack LR McNeilus Meridian Curotto Can Garbage Trucks in Riverside, IL

In today’s video we have two of Flood’s many Mack LR/McNeilus Meridian Curottos in a very interesting contract. I say interesting because if you take one look at Riverside on a map, you’ll quickly realize its a village like no other. Being so close to Chicago you’d think it would have a typical grid setup like all of its other neighboring cities, right? Wrong! This is easily one of the most unique places I’ve filmed, and it makes running routes quite a challenge to say the least. Now in terms of trucks, unique is one of the last words I would use as it really doesn’t get more mainstream than your typical Mack/McNeilus combo. Nonetheless it’s still pretty neat to watch some bright orange trucks fly through route, so without further ado I hope you all enjoy the video!

For those of you unfamiliar with my channel, I document refuse trucks and equipment in my area and wherever I happen to travel.
As always, these trucks look slick as shit all done up in floods colors! It’d be neat if they continued the stripes from the cab onto and around the front of the curottos, they seem plain in comparison to the truck. I do find it pretty cool that the curottos were different colors, so at least not all of these units are identical. Nice work! I really enjoyed watching these guys haul ass!
I’m right there with you on that one! Now that would be super cool, it would definitely add some spice to the Curotto. That’s the one thing I do like about Flood’s front loads, it’s pretty hard to find two that have completely identical Curottos. Thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed the video!
Great video! I have to say the orange paint on these stood out really well from the foggy background. Pretty interesting to see Flood servicing an area that's majority city carts, and not Flood carts! That last stop was entertaining, since all the bins were way overflowing, especially the AW Classic!
Thank you! I totally agree, their paint scheme really pops. The recycling carts with the Riverside stamp were originally rolled out by Allied Waste, but since getting this contract Flood has been rolling out their own carts. I enjoyed watching that last stop too, glad you enjoyed the video and I appreciate the comment!

Great video! Driver in 214 did a great job at dumping then driving then luring the bin back down. Hopefully there will be more vids of this company

Have to say I’m not a fan of the Meridians, however paired with the LR and in Flood’s colors, they do look pretty sweet! Also it sounded nice on that last stop when he was revving to dump the Curotto, also nice shot with the AW cart! Great work Grant!
Being that there’s so many Meridians around me these days, I’ve warmed up to them over the years haha I do agree, they look fantastic especially painted up in Flood’s scheme. Can’t go wrong with a diesel mack revving it up a little bit haha, glad you enjoyed t!
