They're clearly bored playing the same songs again and again and are delivering lacklustre performances. The album was a let down after such great live shows in 2012 and 2013, all overproduced and lacking fire, and now they are getting complacent and lazy into the bargain. Too much praise has gone to their heads. If this is your first sight of Haim, I urge you to check out the performances at Reading, Leeds, iTunes etc. You will see what they were capable of and hopefully can be again.
Paul Whelan The performance wasn't bad, except by the standard they set earlier in 2012 and 2013. As I say, all is not lost, the talent is still there, but they need to get out of the bubble they are in at the moment and take a clearheaded look at what they are going to do next.
You need to get over yourself. Who cares if this or that performance was as good as another in your opinion. What is important is that they wrote fantastic songs that have captured the attention of people all over the world. That takes talent, hard work and perseverance. Danielle just got over a cold where she lost her voice altogether and Alana and Este had to take over all singing chores. They are putting in all out there in their performances regardless of what you think.

Why do they persist in inventing a role for Alana? The odd drum beat, which I'm sure the actual drummer wouldn't struggle with. Same with her guitar bits, all very basic.
She actually does alot instrument wise for the band. Shes playing the keyboard during his song as well. And at the end of the day why do you care so much.
