I saw the cape/blazer top on a presenter in a red like the shirt you are wearing and I couldn't stop looking at it because I was trying to figure out how it was put together ! Thank you for sharing where to get the pattern to make it !
Great video, some nice ideas. I am a big fan of quilted jacket and vests. Great for home wear and a good middle ground between a cardigan and a jacket, made several last year and plan some more in different colours this autumn
It is starting to get cold in the house now and I do not want to be using the heating oil this soon! I think I might try making one for the child first and see how i get on.

That is so many capes! My problem is i never feel like I have anywhere to wear them. They feel like overkill for just walking the dog and child.
