Most incredible score of all time. I think it hugely impacted my perception of music as a child. I wish I could have attended just for this 8 minutes alone.
Just found out I am having a son yesterday and this hits home so hard. Lion King was my favorite movie as a child and the idea of moving to the role of Mufasa is beautiful - the circle of life.
When I first saw this movie I didnt have the words to express what I was feeling. All I had were tears. At the time I had no idea how impactful the score was. Literally one of the best movies/score of all time.
El rey león, gladiador y Titanic las mejores musicas y películas del mundo y del planeta. El rey león el reino de los cielos, Gladiador el reino de la tierra y Titanic el reino de los mares 😃
Key is alot of people hold the ha.d over the mic on the phone just be careful where u put ur hands on your phone...this was taken on my old Samsung s19! Would sound better and look clearer now haha
I watched this performance live in Hamburg last night and it was electrifying! I still have goosebumps thinking about it! They got a standing ovation from the crowd for this brilliant performance ❤
I'm actually glad I didn't see the live action remake. Hans Zimmer himself and Elton John gave it bad reviews regarding the angelic magical music that it has and I would agree 100% 👍👍
I was there during this concert, and it is one of my most enjoyable experiences in life..... listening to it is fantastic, but being there, in that atmosphere, actually feeling the music in your chest, every single note hits you. And it is utterly glorious!!!
Hans Zimmer, you are a brilliant musician. The part where they played the soundtrack for Mufasa's death almost made me cry. When a certain song hits you, it really does.
Such touching music, I always think of my father, my life in its entirety when I listen to this, it’s so spiritual sounding I can’t even find words to describe it sometimes but it brings me to tears like no other
In my childhood I used to watch this movie a lot, now I watch it from time to time and I end up crying as always when Mufasa dies and in the part where he comes from the heavens to advise Simba
Thanks for sharing this masterpiece...I'd love to have the chance to be in a show like this...Lion King's soundtrack touched me.when I was 8 y.o., and still does nowadays. King of Pride rock (6:36) is so powerful!
Il never forget I went with my nana and grandad to watch it I was 8 aswell now I'm taking my little girl to watch it...I'm getting goose bumps now just thinking of the hans Zimmer music.....such a good film
@@pilotchris57 saw the movie 25 years ago, after my 2nd birthday party with my Grandmother, oh my gosh, this was such a good movie, and it always will be, here's to 26 years ago, so, raise a glass, and give cheers to the movie today started it all and a tribute to our Rafiki: Robert who passed away 3 years ago, and more importantly, the music, special thanks to Hans Zimmer

Simba's story moves us so deeply because it embodies emotions of love, loss, and finding the strength to carry on. He experiences the pure love of his father, Mufasa, who represents safety, guidance, and everything Simba believes in. But when Mufasa dies tragically, Simba's world shatters and he is forced to grow into adult hood without a father. The heartbreaking moment of losing a parent-especially in such a cruel way-reflects a fear so many of us carry: the fear of being left alone in a world we don’t fully understand. Simba is not only burdened by grief but also by the crushing guilt of thinking he caused his father’s death. That kind of trauma makes him run from his past, from his pain, and from his destiny. His journey away is filled with moments of trying to forget, trying to bury his feelings, but no matter where he goes, the void left by his father remains. What makes this story so powerful is the moment when Simba realizes that, even in death, his father is still with him. Mufasa’s spirit, his love, and his wisdom live on inside Simba. It’s a heartwrenching realization that though we may lose the ones we love, they are never truly gone.
