I think for me at least the main appeal of troll levels is how creative the maker can get. Like good contraptions and such and not just like invisible blocks over every pit. Plus when they make you think you made the right choice then later you realize you were wrong. Other than that they’re just glorified pick a paths.
Yeah I understand what you mean. I think I've played way more bad ones compared to good ones (especially in endless expert) that it just feels like a chore at this point. With that being said, I don't want to be too harsh! There are definitely some good ones and I've even played a few notable ones on this channel!

since your last upload on this channel, i reached 32 uploaded team shell levels (and counting), got cancelled in tj, got the ability to judge levels in team shell, took on multiple projects at the same time thrice, became a better person, turned 18 and improved my making to the point i thought i fell off at one point when my self-confidence was low af, then stopped thinking i fell off. those were a really long few days.
I'm really glad you're doing well buddy, I mean it. I've seen a lot of growth in yourself both inside and outside of the game. Thank you for all of the updates and I'm glad you're still here kicking it with the Piranha Party! I gotta get that discord set up again smh.
Not sure if you forgot about me but I used to be a huge fan and watched all your videos. I saw your video popped up and was flooded by memories. Sadly I have moved on from Smm2 but seeing you back makes me so happy🙂❤❤❤

I was under the impression a "dev exit" was a secret shortcut straight to the end so the uploader wouldn't have to play their own level. I don't think that's what you found in the first level, especially since the first thing you had to do in it was a little boss fight. Maybe it was just an alternate path..?
Just rewatched it and you could be right? I'm always open to different opinions. Maybe one could consider it an exploration reward but I'm not sure, it's always a bit dubious when you can skip a chunk of level. You could be right though and maybe the creator intended it as an alternate path!
When I say that, I'm referring to my other channel, "MitchsMisadventures". That's the channel that I want to focus most of my time on and create high quality videos related to robotics/ai/irl stuff. Think a combination of Ludwig, Mark Rober, and Michael Reeves all at once. It's kind of my way of branching out and making more of a "name" for myself outside of the SMM2 community! Videos here aren't going anywhere though and I don't plan on dropping the quality anytime soon :)
