- (9-3-20) This elevator was a total surprise! A 6 floor Thyssenkrupp ISIS 1 elevator! This is probably the craziest one I've ridden since it's so loud and shaky. The overall condition of the elevator is decent considering it's location. Some of the fixtures have seen better days though.
Note: Thyssenkrupp Isis is a type of elevator manufactured by Thyssenkrupp and has no connection to any group.

This is amazing, not to mention extremely rare to have a 6 story ThyssenKrupp ISIS! This is the highest i've ever seen a ThyssenKrupp ISIS travel.
These are super rare, and I was totally not expecting to find this.

My favorite thing about the Thyssenkrupp ISIS, is the directional indicator built in the door.
Yeah I love it too. There's so many things about these elevators that made them unique to others: lanterns on the doors, magnetic buttons, the chimes, panel arrangement, motor sounds, etc.
I really love the motor especially when the elevator starts and stops

Some people use 1515 as an alternate. Which I agree because RUclips has gotten so strict now. Anyways I’m glad this runs ok!

How unfortunate that the awesome chime isn't used, I'd prefer it way better than the standard Dover/TK ones. The 1S1S fixtures and overall cab design are much more interesting and unique than Signa4 or TK Traditional. If they reused that on a smaller version of the Synergy like Schindler does with the 3300, it would be pretty awesome.
There's multiple things about these elevators that made them different from any other elevators: the chimes, the lanterns on the doors, the magnetic buttons, the panel design and layout, motor sounds, and other little quirky things.
Insane! Also, this is weird why the floor position indicator does not show 4.
I'm not sure why it doesn't show. I have not figured out how the indicator works yet.

Gahanna, OH 43230: Thyssenkrupp isis 1 elevator that hasn’t been filled for anyone near. Has one of, if not the loudest and coolest motor of any thyssenkrupp isis ever. Hope it can get on a big channel one day. The Sanctuary at Virginia Beach also has thyssenkrupp isis elevators that I believe are not on RUclips either.
This one is pretty loud, though I have another one coming up soon with an even louder motor!

My high schools elevator has the same thing where a few of the intermediate call button plates look like they were bashed in with a hammer but it was no isis it had the vandal resistant button thyssenkrupp also makes

It's an interesting elevator. But it kinda gives off the feeling that a couple rolls of duct tape might be helpful. The chime is cool. It looks cool. But it must shed parts from time to time. By the way, was 4 locked out? 1 floor just not showing on the floor indicator is just weird otherwise.... But it is a neat looking elevator.
Haha. 4 isn't locked out, the indicator just didn't light up for some reason.
This looks like a second gen, if not then a very very late first gen.
The motor is in the pit
TK needs to go to that building and enlarge the bottom of the opening for the floor indicator.
The indicator just needs to pushed back into place.
I’m guessing the 4th floor relay or the controller failed to light it up
It's not a relay, but something isn't being communicated to the PI

This is actually an ISIS 2 judging by the indicator. ISIS 2 could have the original fixtures or Aurora/custom fixtures.

There used to be a ThyssenKrupp ISIS in Winnipeg but it got modernized by Northern with MAD fixtures which is sad.

Do these use kevlar or steel ropes? Btw, that number 3 on the indicator really needs a redesign.
I'm pretty sure all of the Kevlar on these were replaced.

That floor indicator needs some work, like it not showing the whole numbers and some light bulbs replaced.
It's not the bulbs, it's the cover.

@@pepsicolachao4537 Sometimes that may be the case but I can guarantee you here if he just lifted the camera up a little more you could see the lower digits.
The indicator wasn't connected all the way to the panel, so the bottom appeared to be missing. You can't replace the leds in these. The indicator consists of two dot matrix displays.
It looks like a old version of a Tyson Krupp signature
This is one of the earlier TK elevators.
Was that elevator poorly maintained?
It's ok. It's not in terrible shape, but it's not in great shape either.

4th floor didn't have a number.
This is a great elevator, but here's the flaw, the motor for this specific model of Tyssenkrupp Isis is in the pit, so if it happens to flood there the elevator is streight garbage.

Yeah it's an electronic chime. I believe it is integrated into one of the circuit boards, so I wouldn't be able to wire it into anything.

Yeah a glass elevator would have been awesome, but it would also be more maintenance to the property.
