Great Video Gerald!!! Thanks for the shout out!!! I love hearing my name!!!! I will practice what I am learning from you and give you progress reports!!!
I hope I understand your question correctly but if I were to add four more lights, say four more to this thought process I would assign the DMX addresses the same way I just did the first four in the video. So light fixture number five would be set to DMX address 1, light fixture six would be sent to DMX address 7, light fixture seven would be set to DMX address 13 and light fixture eight would be set to DMX address 19 for use with the FlareCon. I hope this helps and again if I misunderstood your question please accept my apology.
Hello Jacob and thanks for watching. I have and I think it's worth it however, it's all in a matter of practice practice practice! I mainly used the Flarecon app with my Freedom Pars and now Chauvet has a plethora of wireless fixtures compatible with the app to include Freedom sticks. It's a great way to be able to just whip out your phone or a tablet and get a light show going that's pre-programmed or control certain fixtures on the flight. Again it's all about practice to be really good at it.
So far all is well at my house but i'me going to test it out soon at a venue. I'm trying to make sure its reliable. Oh lately some of these developers are behind the power curve when it comes to updates on their apps. At least Chauvet handled their fumble pretty quickly though compared to Behringer.
Hello DJ Lance. As for the FlareCON Air unit itself the second model has more flexibility. You can choose to plug it in to power it or charge it and let it be battery powered to operate. You can plug it in to power it or charge it and use it wirelessly. As for the app itself, I am currently working through it to see how it works because it's set up a little bit different fire version. Chauvet just released it some weeks ago and I'm still getting used to the new app. If I was starting to buy a flare con devices though I would buy the second model.
Hello Ezduztube and thanks for watching. We're not interested in the tri-6's because we are used to using the hex colors. Try posting in the Chauvet DJ group on Facebook, maybe somebody will take you up on your offer.
Hey man new subscriber was hoping you can help me out with a question I have. I have an adj wolfmix pad and I was thinking to buying some used chauvet freedom tri 6. Would I be able to connect with those? Or do I need this flarecon?
I have absolutely no experience with the wolfmix pad but based on a test conducted by a buddy of mine with an ADJ my DMX go, Chauvet Lighting did not respond to it wirelessly. So in my opinion these companies have their own proprietary equipment that talks to their lights specifically. The less expensive option compared to a flare con is the Chauvet D-Fi Hub which is a transmitter or receiver: amzn.to/3wpTSdi
Chauvet is like Apple. They put out great products but they ain’t giving no extras. Lol thanks for watching. FYI I could totally crush a 40 fixture light show with the FlareCON only they decided to put out a new app that doesn’t work anymore. Go figure that one out. lol
Have you used the H1 and Hex 4 together on the same FlareCon Air? It seems like you did this in the video you produced about the D-Fi XLR Pack. If so, how did you achieve this?
I have not used multiple fixture types yet with just the FlareCon Air. In the D-Fi XLR Pack video I was using my DMX controller through both the FlareCon and the D-Fi XLR pack. When I have some downtime I will be making a video using multiple fixtures. Thanks for the idea.
Have you had a chance to use the newly updated version of the FlareCON App? It looks totally different from the last version. I can’t find any videos or updated User Manual.
Amazing video Mr. G Fire!
Thank you.

Word bro. I look forward to your success.
How can you setup groups of fuxtures, via starting DMX addressing?

great vid mate
Thank you.
Have you tried using the Flarecon App to control Freedom Sticks? Is it worth?

What do you think of the App update? I'm having a lot of disconnections.

Hi, whats the difference between the flarecon 1 vs 2?

You'd think chauvet would give you some prebuilt effects, but I guess not. I would hate to have to program a chase like that down a run of 40 lights.

There is. They are called AutoPrograms. There is also strobing and play to audio. I don't think he didn't get around to it.
