Thanks for the video Joe, miss your voice though! Hope you're recovering well from your surgery. Just for clarification - it takes 50,000 points to earn one perk point. I'm not taking into account fractions of score already gained, this is how much it takes to gain 1 full perk point. That can be 10,000 with a 5x multiplier, about 7,200 with a 7x multiplier. Any score multiplier that equals 50,000 score will yield 1 full perk point. Also it seems the maximum perk points you can get for one single skill chain is 10 (so a total skill chain of 500,000). For best efficiency, getting a 7x multiplier of 72,000 then depositing it (that's a 504,000 total skill chain) will yield 10 full perk points, the maximum.

1) That was nine perk points, not ten.
2) The skill point gauge was almost full when it started banked the points
3) The combos were still banking when he hit x to enter the race.

IMO, always get the Second Life perk or whatever it's called. Being able to take a wreck and save your points is amazing, if you aren't a pro
lol. I just noticed the kill all tires on the hoonicorn. My dad was a very technical racer and he'd be so mad at drifting all of the time. (Well, legit racing, not video game racing like I do. :)
Only started the game yesterday lol. Some great advice. Same goes for the comments. Gets me online a lot quicker. Good fun game. Love my VR for racing. Shame ms don't get onboard with it through steam on pc. Forza VR would be great.

I don't think this is the fastest way, but it is one of the best. What I've found to be equally effective is to take something like the Nomad Ariel to a large clearing north of the festival where there are tons of tree stumps and small trees. Unlike the airfield which has a flat area with traffic cones along the strip, bins on the dirt and barriers at either end this clearing has these objects scattered all over. It also includes lots of uneven terrain so an off road vehicle can drift, hit the stumps for lumberjack bonuses (1000pts) and they'll be chaining small jumps and large 600pt jumps together.
i find just driving the m6 around the map trying to keep a fat skill chain is fun and you get a good amount of skill points too

Nice method, only thing is after you hit the bins and other stuff in the first run it doesnt spawn back so each time you're left with less things to hit....
Fast travel or travel at least half a mile away and it will respawn.
All you have to do is do the drag race.. and when the 12 second race is over it will all be back.. how do you get a x10 multiplier though?

Buy it or level up the different progression trees in the game. It says reward wheel spin for the next level. Press A and select one and do it
Put skill points into all cars. Every car hast wheel spins if you upgrade it with skill points
A other good place to go is the beach next to the castle their like sand bumps and you can a lot of skill points their but make sure NJ you use a rally or off road car or buggy

I am not really sure, but i think my method still is a little faster. It is nothing new, just jumping over the dunes at the beach. Only i use the Renault 5 Turbo FE for it. It has jump and destruction perks on it and also a 7 X multiplier. Anyways, who cares really whose method is the fastest. Thanks for sharing Master Don!

And with this you can get Lambo muira for 1 mill get the FE reventon and sell them both then rinse and repeat for easy credits

Be careful of binman. Lost a 400,000 x 5.0 skill chain because it was counted as a crash.
Another way is maxing out a peel p50 and just trying to drive it down the road

Once you’ve got all the skill points, spend them on the Formula Drift Car Pack cars to get 300,000 credits on each, easy 2.1 million.

This is because he banked more skills than UI could handle which caused the Skill Chain to last longer ;)
Its an angel perk that allows you to hit something once without breaking the chain - not sure how long in between you can hit something else before it breaks - it cost 25 perk points
It's one save per chain.
Yeah if I use my hit, I stop and collect what I got.
@@F1ashingblade Same here. If I know I hit something, I take it easy like moving to a drift zone or just doing speed scores on the beach till I feel like I ought to stop pushing my luck.
You can get 10 skill points after only 71,500 points with X7 chain. So always bank as soon as you hit 71.5k.

If anyone is curious, you can get the BMW drift FE for the same price as the Hoonicorn on the auction market.

its not exactly right with the maths. You get 1 Skill Point per 50.000 Points you do, after the multiplicator took in. So 50.000 x 2 = 100.000 = 2 Skill Points. Also the Maximum is 10 Points per Chain, so getting 500.000 Points in the Chain is enough. (This is 100.000 x 5 on normal cars / 84.000 x 6 on cars with a multiplicator 6 or 50.000 x 10 in a skill song)

@@itsJCL it's just a bonus on the perk tree. Different cars have different one time use bonuses like wheelspins and money. It's like the "instant rewards tab" of the Fh3 perk tree, except its spread across all the cars. And better or rarer cars have better rewards.

In short you want to own every car in the game and the game helps you by having wheel spins and cash in the perk tab for each car.

This is similar to how I bulk up on skill points, I started doing the beach method, but then moved on to the hills with the wind turbines. One loose circuit of that field with a trick focused car can get you the 72k x 7 that you need for the full 10 points. The field is extremely bumpy so you will get lots of jumps and lots of kangaroo bonuses (plus still plenty of objects around to break). The airfield might be better efficiency wise though, but try the windmills out if you get bored of it!

if you want to have easier points and a lot more multiplier so you don't waste time like him, buy a renault 5 turbo or a peugeot 205 t16. points will multiply much more and you can do absolutely anything and not just drifts.
The wind mill farm is also a great place to get perk points, just simply drive back and forth in a fast rally car and you will get a lot of air time and landscaping points

I did the last method in fh3 A LOT, remember those dunes behind the airport and between the rally-ish land, I always grinded on there with my HE jaguar.

I tried this method and as good as it is, I feel that it takes a little more effort than the way I do it. You could give it a try and maybe you’ll see it as being a good spot and upload it to get it out to a wider audience, I get like 1 view a day but we all gotta start somewhere 😂
I basically drift down a beach drag strip, spin round and drift back the other direction at 130-140MPH hitting the dividers, stop and then get 75,000-90,000 x7 (M6 FE) it takes 25-30 seconds each way but in a faster car you could do it much quicker. There’s a video on my channel showing me running it but no commentary as it’s pretty self explanatory, there’s also a bit more info in the description.

Here a much easier tip: Go with a high speed car on the highway, you will earn 25k points every run at the highway, easy points
Speed skill boost + near miss skill boost on the highway = tons of easy points. And you get to test out your cars!
Easy to crash and lose it though

It takes 50,000 skill points to get 1 perk… so if you get 100,000 built up(2 perk points instant) and a multiplier of 5.0 that'll net 10 perk points

Alright :D I said; "I agree, brother. The fun goes away. I paid $100 for the game. That same thing happened to me when i used to play FH3 back in the day. After obtaining all the cars and credits, my play time lessened and that made me feel like I wasted my money on the game for such a small playtime." I mean this time I'll just try to dodge any shortcuts and play the game as much as possible. It's a lot of fun so far!

From your 20 lap highway race I now have 250 skill points, 1.8 million (Half of it was from wheelspins) and 20 wheelspins.
