Ephesus is amazing. We were there in March and it wasn't too busy. I imagine it being very different in the height of summer. Enjoyed the ancient toilet talk 🤣
Hi Caron, thank you so much for your lovely comments! Yes, it does take quite a while to produce each edition. About 2 weeks on average, per video... but I enjoy the creative process!
@@ritzytravelguide I just went last month and although VERY HOT, it was an experience of a lifetime! Additionally, it happened during the ascension of the Virgin Mary celebrations when I was there which made it extra special!!!
Brilliant video as always 🎉 Bill i mean this as a total compliment have you ever thought about doing voice audio for Audio Books you would be perfect for it, your speech is very clear and easy to listen too 🎉
Hi there, thank you so much for your compliments! I wonder what audio books I might be suited to?! Perhaps an agent will swoop in and offer me something!
@@ritzytravelguide awh I'm no expert but I definitely think there is a genre just wanting 🙂 I always listen to the samples before purchasing my audio book and you would be surprised how many times I have passed on a book because of the persons voice just not appealing to me, I use the audio books to relax so the persons voice is very importantand I do believe that is also a reason I really enjoy you and your families videos because you are all very well spoken and very easy to listen too 🙂 Have a great day
Hi, the excursion was a whole day, and included Ephesus and House of Virgin Mary. It was approx $60 per person Here is the provider we used: gyg.me/lfovJRBh
Wow - you’ve got to actually be there in person to get the feel of the enormity MEN built all that. How many died doing so. History is wonderful Turkish people are very friendly I worked for an 🇺🇸hydraulics company and their office based in Birmingham we dealt with the EU and Turkey companies needing hydraulics for their machines like JCB based in Ismir and Bursa I used to be sent lots of dried fruits 🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴❤️❤️👍 👍
Bill I am new to your channel and a new cruiser. I am enjoying your videos very much and have subscribed. Good luck with your work. My wife and I want to do a Med cruise and I’ve seen Ephesus is on many itineraries so this video is very timely and well done. Btw, your MSC video encouraged me to cancel a cruise with them that I had booked. That’s not for me.
@@ritzytravelguide lol your videos were very fair. what turned me off were the number of people on board and the nightly deck parties. Reduced staffing to reduce prices doesn’t work for me either.
Hello Bill , very informative content. We will be going to a Mediterranean Cruise in October with RCL… we saw at GET YOUR GUIDE private tour that it doesn’t include entry tickets . Could you give us an idea of how many places in this tour package needs an entry ticket and more or less with the tour that you did , how much was the total package for you and your wife? Thanks
Hi, our tour was approximately $50 person. It was a private your, with us only, in a minibus, collection from the Port of Kuşadası. It included entry tickets to Ephesus, and the house of the Virgin Mary, and lunch. We were very glad to have booked a guide, otherwise Ephesus would be very difficult to appreciate.
Shocking that after 6 minutes of talking about Ephesus you failed to mention that it was a Greek city built by the ancient Greeks ages before the Romans arrived (and a full millennium before the Turks occupied it). Other than that, a good video. Just subbed.
Bill, great video. Would you recommend an tour group agency to book with? I've got access to Royal Cari. excursions, AAA Royal Cari and Viatour. Any of these better than the next or can you recommend another?
Hi Diana, we booked a small tour company with GetyourGuide. Private tour, well priced. Very happy with them. Here is the link for the company we used: gyg.me/lfovJRBh
ive been to these places... i miss them so much
It is a fascinating place!
Türkiyeye gelen insanların ayrıldıktan sonra buraları özlediği doğrudur...😊
Thank you for your respectful treatment of Ephesus and of the house of the Virgin Mary.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed the video

Thanks so much! Yes Ephesus is stunning. Toilet talk is always interesting 😁
Cracking effort Bill, outstanding editing
Thank you so much!
I so agree with your wife on being the best site to see on a 10 day cruise! Love it.
Ephesus is such an inspiration to visit
Great video Bill. I know they take a lot of pre- and post-production, but would love to see more, more often!

Amazing place, thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see Ephesus this summer.
You'll have a fascinating time!
This is no average holiday vlog. The CGI tour through old Ephesus is very awesome.
Thanks so much for watching. Ephesus is incredible
Could you provide the contact of the guide
@sandylee4814 Hi there, here is the link for that particular guide and tour. We can really recommend it:

Did you use and agency to book your private tour? Or someone like Viatour/Shoreexcursioners? Or through the cruise line?
This is the private tour we booked. The guide was excellent, and the price very reasonable:

So appropriate to sit on the sh*tter to talk politics. Then share a used loofa..about sums up the state of our government today.
