This video will turn people into bike builders. Excellent job. Thanks for sharing the story.
I hope it'll inspire a few people
@@forthebold Well i feel inspired. I have the tools and the space now i just need a bike!
For The Bold - dreegez is it legal to ride it in your country?
Unfortunately in most of europe you need to leave vehicles as they came from the factory or face huge fines
Yeah completely legal in the UK
I'm inspired by this, but my father never ever allow me to ride motorcycle (I asked when I was 10 years old, now I'm 23 and he still never let me to ride motorcycle.)
RUclips needs a "love" button.
I wish it did. Spread the word is love enough.
Biker from Taiwan, Asia, love your work sir!!!!
Watched this whole series, I'm working on an 82 Honda sabre and you have given me alot of helpful tips and pointers. Keep doing what you do look forward to more videos
Amazing, 2019 I think will be packed. Happy building
That is one of the most beautiful bikes I've ever seen.
Thanks, glad you think so
The best cafe racer build I've ever seen so far. Thanks for sharing the video & good job.
Thank you, means a lot, please share around too ;)
Truly inspiring! At first glance one might think building a bike is no big deal, but after watching a few timelapses one can truly understand how much work goes into beautiful builds like this! Keep it up!
Thanks. Yeah a lot of work especially on fabricating the rear end.
Absolutely one of the best Cafè Racer I've ever seen, no diggity!
That's very kind of you
Your builds and videos have been a real inspiration to me starting my channel last year. Looking forward for what is to come! Happy New Year! Cheers!
Amazing, if it's inspired then my work is done
Cheers Mate! But you should finish the CB750 first! 😀
That’s an awesome build, really satisfying to see the process man.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks. Glad you like it.
DUDE! You guys with these time lapse Michael Angelo like creations are killing me! I can't piece mine back together and my CX has sat in my garage in powder coated pieces for over 3 years now. Very nice video and outstanding bike!
Beautiful cafe racer..
Honda CX500’s look so good as Cafe Racers...great job on this 1. 👊😎👍
No, Moto Guzzi's look amazing as cafe racers... this is just a huge waste of time and talent.
I've watched a number of these CX500 resto-mod videos now and I have to say that yours is now my favourite. Great colour scheme!
Thank you so much, appreciate it.
I’ve been watching numerous projects online, this one still by far my favorite. Everything makes sense, the proportions are perfect and the color scheme, even using primary colors, doesn’t look obvious and match perfectly together at same time. Also the red and white pays tribute for a Japanese brand.
Respect from Brazil.
Thank you. Glad you like it. A pity I don’t get much time to ride it
For The Bold thanks for the answer.
A question, if you don’t mind: do you think this project would match a smaller bike? Like a cb350?
I had goosebumps in the end of the video. You have built something beautiful, great job sir, now I want to build something too :)
Thanks
Really got the motivation up! Great job!
I have loved watching this bike come together over the last year. The final product is beautiful. Thank you for sharing this inspirational journey.
Thanks for coming along on the journey.
Okay.. this is the most awesome video in this year so far. Absolutely stunning
That's very kind of you to say
This bike is amazing. Well done
Absolutely brilliant video Anthony, I’d forgotten how much work went into this build. You know what my favourite bit is, it’s the way you made the radiator disappear with your clever paint scheme choice!
Thanks, I forgot most of it also, it's all the tiny bits that all add up.
I saw a lot of works and mods in this cx500 model. A lot! And im honest with you. This is the best that I ever saw!! An inspiration for me. Thank you so much for the sharing.
Thanks so much for the kind words.
Respect !!! What I like about you is, that you do a lot of stuff on your own and share it with us.
Thanks. I try do as much. Only part I don’t trust myself is the relocation of the shock mounts. I believe to be 100% safe that was needed to be done by a qualified fabricator.
Truly an amazing talent that you have developed.
Don't know what's more daunting the taking apart of the bike or the electrical??
It's that wiring part that gets me everytime.
And me
Wow! Even though I watched this build from new, seeing it like this was a whole new experience. Thanks for the ride!
It's easy to forget all the episodes and work, even for myself
Stumbled across your channel a few days ago. Absolutely love the work you do! I"m a Texan but I'd fly to Britain to check out your work. Just amazing.
Watching these videos inspires me to find an inexpensive bike the do this myself. I wish I could hit like several times.
Please pardon my gushing a bit, I just wanted to express how awesome it is when you take an unloved bike and give it new life and turn heads with the work you do. Keep it up. I'll keep clicking like from across the pond.
Thanks so much for the kind words and glad you found the channel. It’s all about inspiring others to build. Best of luck for when you start your own project.
Greattttt!!! 100% video - no words, there is de magic. Wonderfullllllll. You can remake all others...
No words for you bro, from building to painting then the electronics. Respect !
I commented on one of you other builds-trust me , you are so skilled it hurts.
Loved this video. Thanks Mate for sharing and showing how its done. Hope to see more builds from you in the new year.
Thank you👍
One of the most exciting Cafe racer build up video on RUclips.
Cheers mate.
Amazing. Happy to hear you think so.
Really nice Bike and Vid! I will try to build my CX500 also in that style
Thanks, all the best with your build
You are a handy-skilled-man in all area: Mechanical, electrical, design, system, tools usage ... I think you have a team to support , for a person that is so well around, I could imagine you can build anything.
Respect!
Thanks. But no team. Just me by myself.
Are these project bike after you completed for sale ? Lol , i wish i can stop by and buy one. Rebuild one of this bike would
Take me 1-2 yrs and probably not as nice
This is the BEST demonstration of what a cafe racer should look and feel like. I day dream about this video, I think I can do this and I'm about to find out!
Thanks, glad you like the bike
The tyre lettering was really good!
Thanks, makes the wheel
Can't believe this got so many dislikes, perfect build and transformation and presentation right down to the last note and song.
Thank you all averages out against the number of likes 👍🏻
I have followed this build from the start, and I have to congratulate you on building an awesome bike... This is seriously one of my favorite and easily one of the most beautiful bikes I have ever seen, ever, be it stock or custom.. 👍👍
Thanks, I've always liked the CX engine.
@For The Bold - dreegez Your hands are gold, man! Congrats!
N I C E !
Thanks.
Looking good use a tromol's
All the time and work you put in to camera angles, color grading, and the pacing of the video really paid off. Great looking bike.
I'd love to do a video like this when I finish my stop motion rebuild some day. You've given me a lot of ideas!
Thanks. It sure does take extra time onto a build to do the filming. Probably triples the build time but glad people are enjoying it.
That's an incredible build and astonishingly magnificent result! I owned a 1982 CX and always loved it, turned out to be a great base for your build dude, xlnt!
Thank you
Nice job on the time lapse. And great way to cap it off at the end. I cant wait to release our build videos. you will have to check them out
Thanks, still be some CX videos once the weather warms up a little, happy building
pls. share youre knowledge man. im impressed
There’s a whole video series of 55 videos of this build.
From start to finish it’s been a great series and a fantastic conclusion. Great job on the bike!
Thanks, a nice book end to the series (although it won't be finished)
This is one of my all time favorite builds. This thing is so cool and I’m been drawing up some plans for my own cx500 someday after I saw yours.
Only thing I would have done differently. Painted the fan either orange or white.
Thanks
Cool
Thanks 👍🏻
Man, so wish I could do this. Haven't got the space, the tools, or the knowledge unfortunately. Great job though, looks fantastic.
I wish that too
The knowledge is gained from perpetual screwup. I finally started putting the tools together, as far as space goes. I live in some really cold ass climates, so I bought a camping awning that is collapsible, typically used for shade during picnics, and put the included wrap on it 3/4 of the way. Keeps the cold out.
You’re limited by your own determination.
@@TheDraindeimo
I only can agree.
I have only a garage for one car.
But over the last 2 years I installed a good mechanikal shop here.
Knowledge came from learning by doing, tools came piece for piece.
Built wo cars in the last two years.
Now I'm going to do bike.
Everybody told me, that I have not enough space/time/money/tools/expirience/knowledge or whatever.
But I started and it worked.
If there's a will, there's a way
That was incredible and what a beautiful bike. I love everything about your design. Especially the white letters on the tires. Well done
Thank you, they do finish the bike I think
Just got myself a 1981 suzuki gs1100 first bike. I'm a bit of a gearhead but know nothing about bikes. This video just made me want to do a cafe project. Amazing video
Awesome. It’s what this channel is all about.
How do you know how to do this? Simply amazing. The whole mess of wires made my palms start sweating haha
Just learnt over several years
How do you Spell Genius?
Because you are one
Amazing Amazing
Thumbs up and thanks for
Sharing
Peace
Thanks for watching this one also
That thing is gorgeous! Great job!
dont ever stop making this kind of video.... thanks :)
I’ll keep on 👍
Painting rule number 1
Lighter colors first! You should've painted it white first and then mask it off...
Iam from indonesia excetid thiss amazing
Excellent.
That so awesome! Well done brother
Thanks
Back in the 80s when I was a courier in London, CX500s were the workhorses. Ugly but dependable. Nobody rode those for fun, the butt of many jokes, but never failed. CB250/400Ns, CB250s, XS250s and CX650s were also the intrepid dispatch riders trusted steeds. Most kept their RD500s, RG500s, CB1100s, GPZ750/1100s, Z1100R Eddie Lawsons and Bimotas for the weekends. Them were the days. Never thought I would ever see a CX cafe racer!! Amazing!!
The poor plastic maggot, I do think the engine is beautiful. Thanks for watching
And THAT is how you turn a sows ear into a silk purse 👍!!
No, It's how you but lipstick on a pig, still just a soulless mass produced knock off

Why is everyone making cafe racers?
They’ve been doing the, since the 1960s
@@forthebold I know. But compared to what it was before its just less practical. I do the opposite. Im building a cruiser out of a bmw.
@@forthebold please build a featherweight supermoto!
Because is sh!t tuncated style, someone feel in nostalgy on mud bath tracking.. And wife leave at home..
@@ChristianRB89 Thats better. Slowly riding for the feeling.
Wow what a great work!
This week I got the idea out of nowhere to either start a project bike. I'm still not sure which bike to use, but your Video was a great Inspiration. Thank you, that's really motivating.

Awesome video dude! I'm currently building a yamaha TT600 street scrambler. Seeing videos like this gets me inspired to get back out in the -5c garage! Thanks :)
Best of luck, enjoy
I don't really like Cafe Racer style bikes, but this one is beautifully done. Lovely job. You have brought back to life a truly under appreciated motor cycle.
Thank you, it's good to hear that, appreciate it.
