How to backfill daily pages in the Hobonichi~ a cozy "journal with me" °~

- Welcome to The Common Corner,
today I wanted to share an idea I had for backfilling daily pages~ although I love tapping into my journal daily, sometimes being busy takes over and I decide to not push myself to do so if it doesn't flow naturally.
I still enjoy going back in and backfilling these pages, and recently I was inspired to try something new!
As usual, I like to catch up with you first, and I get into the main point of the video later~

In the next few weeks I am thinking of talking a bit more about my common place book, as well as going through all the stationary I have so far collected~ stay tuned my fellow humans.

I’m surprised to find that there are videos of keeping notebooks! I’m 60+ and have kept notebooks since childhood. I used to make them with a stapler and scrap paper. I’ve made handmade paper for books and even made some with brown paper bags. Some were the size of a matchbox. I still keep notebooks but I put my own dates and calendars in them and I make pockets which contain tiny notebooks. I like your calm content very much. I like your backfilling notions and your stickers!🐇🫙

This was so good -picked up some ideas for the blank pages of my notebook. Also I liked this longer video! I liked both the non-speaking and speaking parts. You have such a calming voice and this video was a welcome reprieve from my stressful day.

These are great ideas! This helps me feel less guilty about not filling pages on the exact day. I’m thinking I’ll give myself a weekly backfill day to really take the time and think about what I want to put there in a more relaxed and reflective way 👩🏻🎤
I absolutely love this! I saw your comment last week, and made it a point on Sunday to sit down and backfill the little bits I hadn't managed to write in the busy week. Very relaxing and calm to get to slow down with it💌

Where is your binder from that you had ephemera in?

I want to get into Bungo Stray dogs but would you recommend the anime or the manga specifically?
Hi! Apologies for the late reply. The Manga is a lot more extensive and detailed (as they often are), and with my struggles to pay attention, I found it difficult to pick up again after a couple days had passes without reading. The Anime is easier to stay on track with! But again, a lot less detailed than the Manga and it doesn't have all the fun character cards which is one of my favorite aspect of the books. Hope this helps! 💌
You could cover your glue stick with a small piece of paper or some washi tape.
I could indeed~ luckily MUJI has restocked their beautiful glue sticks, whew! 😄🌾
