I love TBR games, they've totally changed my opinions of TBR's. I vote for Q&A when you get a bingo. I like them every so often to get to know the creators I watch a little bit better dealing with some things that maybe aren't as book related. Nevernight is one of my faves! It isn't for everyone though, that is FOR SURE! I hope you love it though! I read the Scarlet letter in high school. I hated it! Or... I hate the experience of reading it because it was in school. I didn't retain ANY of it really, other than the basic premise and a few random bits here and there.
I know i really love TBR Games as well! I think a Q&A Would be fun for sure! I really hope that I love nevernight it is one of those book that I have hard so many people talk about it that I have such high expectations of it! And the Scarlet Letter scares me I had the same experience in high school so we will have to see!

Book Bingo looks so fun. I have a little tbr jar I pull from but I may have to do Book Bingo. I hope you enjoy Recursion! I read it with my hubby who hates reading and he loved it and read it SO fast!

@@kaylanisimplyme The Assassins Blade is a Prequel to Throne of Glass, so technically you could read it at any time, but I would suggest to read it after the second or third one because it is very important to keep Celenas character and persona in mind, because The Assassins Blade plays before her admission to Endovier.💜💜💜

Amazing idea! Love the idea of prompts and the bingos. Maybe when you get a bingo you could have a jar of random rewards (buy a book from your wishlist, liveshow, Q&A etc). You do seem to like randomising!

This is such a fun game idea. :) I've been thinking about what my own TBR game might look like, so it's fun to see what other people are doing. If it bugs you that most of your numbers will NOT come from the BINGO board, maybe you could only put balls into the cage whose numbers are on the board? Then with each number you draw, you replace that patch of the board and add the new number to the cage? I'm curious to see what you think of Recursion! It's on my shelf, but I'm also a little wary of it. 😅 Happy reading!
Hmm...I just realized that won't work for keeping track of BINGOs. Maybe you wait to replace numbers until after you've gotten a BINGO? Then clear the board, keep numbers that you DIDN'T draw ON the board, then fill in the spaces with reserve numbers and add those corresponding balls to the cage? Idk. I'm brainstorming. 😂

@@kaylanisimplyme It'll be a while before I get to Recursion. I still have so many books I already have and should really read first. I wish I could've DNF'ed The Scarlet Letter, but I'd picked it for a school assignment back when I was a teenager. I'd foolishly thought that it must surely be good, because: "it's an American Classic! " "American students have to read it for school!" XD I was so naïve! I ended up really struggling with it. Hawthorne describes everything in a room, which I find annoying and the characters! I hated the characters! Hester was sooo passive, Pearl was a brat and then Hester's lover! I couldn't understand how she saw anything good or redeemable in him. I fully support this DNF. ;) XD

@@kaylanisimplyme I'm currently reading Station Eleven which I'm enjoying so far. A classic that I love is "A Little Princess". I loved the 90s film as a kid and while the film is not exactly the same as the book, I really enjoyed the book when I read it years later. But I mostly read graphic novels and comics. I re-read Heat by Jean Wei recently and I love that one. I also love "Homunculus" by Joe Sparrow (bought a second copy in case something happens to my first copy XD), "Don't Go Without Me" by Rosemary Valero-O'Connell and "Gleem" by Freddy Carrasco. Do you read graphic novels?

I love the idea of the outside of your comfort zone jar with available books on Libby! With all the libraries shut I've been struggling to find audiobooks on my actual tbr on libbie, I should follow your example and try some new stuff!
If I were to do this Bingo board, I would give myself a free pass on buying books anytime I managed a Bingo :) I am trying to stay within budget, but maybe I'd buy 10 books or something. Maybe you could do something similar :)
I know and now it is coming back to bite me in the but lol! Im struggling lol! I actually had to take that off of my TBR because I found out that is the third book in the series and I still have not read the second but I replaced it with another big book so yay me lol!
This is such an interesting take on the bingo TBR game, and just TBR games in general. It was so much fun to watch!!! If you get a bingo, maybe you could either treat yourself and buy a new book for your collection or just use the next month to mood read whatever you want instead of having to choose based on prompts.

This is such a fun game idea. :) I've been thinking about what my own TBR game might look like, so it's fun to see what other people are doing. If it bugs you that most of your numbers will NOT come from the BINGO board, maybe you could only put balls into the cage whose numbers are on the board? Then with each number you draw, you replace that patch of the board and add the new number to the cage?
I'm curious to see what you think of Recursion! It's on my shelf, but I'm also a little wary of it. 😅 Happy reading!
Hmm...I just realized that won't work for keeping track of BINGOs. Maybe you wait to replace numbers until after you've gotten a BINGO? Then clear the board, keep numbers that you DIDN'T draw ON the board, then fill in the spaces with reserve numbers and add those corresponding balls to the cage? Idk. I'm brainstorming. 😂

I wish I could've DNF'ed The Scarlet Letter, but I'd picked it for a school assignment back when I was a teenager. I'd foolishly thought that it must surely be good, because: "it's an American Classic! " "American students have to read it for school!" XD I was so naïve!
I ended up really struggling with it. Hawthorne describes everything in a room, which I find annoying and the characters! I hated the characters! Hester was sooo passive, Pearl was a brat and then Hester's lover! I couldn't understand how she saw anything good or redeemable in him.
I fully support this DNF. ;) XD

I didn't get far enough to form enough opinions about the character but I agree about the writing! It just wasn't for me! it sucks when you have to do it for school because then you have no choice but to finish it! Silly! I hope your reading is going better! Reading anything good right now?

A classic that I love is "A Little Princess". I loved the 90s film as a kid and while the film is not exactly the same as the book, I really enjoyed the book when I read it years later.
But I mostly read graphic novels and comics. I re-read Heat by Jean Wei recently and I love that one. I also love "Homunculus" by Joe Sparrow (bought a second copy in case something happens to my first copy XD), "Don't Go Without Me" by Rosemary Valero-O'Connell and "Gleem" by Freddy Carrasco.

I love the idea of the outside of your comfort zone jar with available books on Libby! With all the libraries shut I've been struggling to find audiobooks on my actual tbr on libbie, I should follow your example and try some new stuff!

If I were to do this Bingo board, I would give myself a free pass on buying books anytime I managed a Bingo :) I am trying to stay within budget, but maybe I'd buy 10 books or something. Maybe you could do something similar :)

This is such an interesting take on the bingo TBR game, and just TBR games in general. It was so much fun to watch!!!
If you get a bingo, maybe you could either treat yourself and buy a new book for your collection or just use the next month to mood read whatever you want instead of having to choose based on prompts.
