No difference in game loading at all compared to a slow gen 3 nvme until the games actually support gen four speeds. So, be patient 😁 5800x and 6800xt for me. Can't spend LOADS extra for 5-10% more. Good luck though 👍
I’m wondering if this drive will work with ps5? Sony said you need a specific type of drive that can match the internal ssd of the ps5. But this drive is slightly slower so I’m wondering if it will work.. because I just purchased it to get ready for ps5’s launch but now I’m worried when I install it the ps5 won’t accept it.
No. Its too slow for the PS5. It's closer to Xbox series X speeds. PS5 will require a much faster SSD, something that is only just becoming available like the Samsung evo 980 pro. Definitely wait for a compatibly list and obviously it won't be cheap.
I bought the 4 TB version for around $800 dollars when it first went on sale. I got their heat sink too. 🤓
Nice
What would be faster this or a 970 evo plus?
Q4 4700 vs evo 3500 for reads. 2000 vs 3500 for writes.
Depends what the main usage will be for.
when will the rocket 4 plus sabrent come out ? there is still no release date !
Soon.
Paper launch always suck.

What's going on with the write speed being higher in PCIE3 mode? Does it have to do with the fact that it is TLC?
It's qlc and possibly due to the controller being used.
