My thoughts too wallahi, I was a One direction fan when I was younger, Im still young studying in school and I saw how he got everything he wanted, he came on the X factor show to raise money for his struggling family, and sing because loved it, and I mean can you get bigger than what he did with One Direction he was breaking records for stadium tour numbers and became a billion dollar group after 3 years, he had everything the dunya could offer, yet he had an alcoholism issue he always spoke about struggling with Ive seen the shock in everyone, but we will all taste death and the taste will be different for us all, inshAllah our taste will be sweet كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۗ وَنَبْلُوكُم بِٱلشَّرِّ وَٱلْخَيْرِ فِتْنَةًۭ ۖ وَإِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ ٣٥ Surah Al-Anbya Every soul will taste death. I have quit listening to music but back when I was 12, I was a huge 1D fan. I loved the band so much I won't be able to put it into words rn. I left this life behind me but when I heard about Liam passing away I was in pieces. It's so tragic and heartwrenching when we as muslim can not even make duaa to Allah swt for someone bcs they didn't believe in Him. ALLAH knows ive left this all but the thought of anyone that I have felt love for dying without Islam is beyond heartbreaking. It reminds of Prophet Ibrahim and how he must have felt that his father never came to Islam. Those feelings are unbearable
I understand the feeling of Liam not knowing islam, but you can still make dua for him, I did as soon as I heard of his death, just like I do for anybody, especially if I hear that they are/were suffering.

Thank you this morning I watched this video having no idea who you were talking about ( I just forgot his name), then I see someone watch a video about Liam Paynes passing then I go back to this video realising this his him Subhanallah.
Your first point was excellent. Most celebrities are taken in by worldly pleasures, prioritising duniya over deen. Excessive wealth and fame often comes with a price. And, unfortunately for Liam Payne, that price was alcohol and drug addiction, and poor mental health. As to your second point: indeed no one knows what tomorrow brings, and we also don't know what land we'll die in. A few years ago, a member of my extended family died drowning while on holiday, and he left behind his wife and two sons. He was in his late 30s. From what I remember, he was a good practicing Muslim. This life is impermanent, and no one knows how much time, long or short, they'll have in this duniya. Pray that Allah keeps you within the folds of Islam, and also pray for a good death. Whatever you do, or not do, will determine your ahkhirah. Don't take this life for granted.

Liam Payne was the most moralic and most sympathetic man in the world. After his girlfriend left he ordered two prostututes and drugs, then did not pay the prostitutes. God then stopped paying him but god was wrong. He was the best guy in the world. This is my lesson from his death.

But it's comforting to know we have a choice and can repent. Some souls receive harder tests. Have I understood this correctly? @@TheYazmanian Try to look at like this. As a parent, you know exactly what your toddler is going to choose to do if you present him/her with a few options. Now that doesn't mean you want your child to choose that particular option, but you just know that's what they will choose. That's what free will is. Allah has given us all free will. He knows what we will choose to do. Not because He wants us to cause harm to ourselves or others, but Him being our Creator knows what we will do. This is why there's a Day of Judgement where everyone gets rewarded or punished based on what we chose to do. Hopefully that makes more sense!

Subhan Allah - even a layman like me knows the psychological and media-based concept of “celebrity worship”, because the thing one strives most for and give the most attention to becomes one’s “god” - for some it is money, for some, celebrities - the way that the common folk are so obsessed with these individuals who don’t even know their names is honestly baffling, it truly is “worship” of them with the way that they’re constantly monitoring their lives, giving them so much money from concert tickets to merch, unhealthily consuming their content, *idolising* them etc 🤮

I have quit listening to music but back when I was 12, I was a huge 1D fan. I loved the band so much I won't be able to put it into words rn. I left this life behind me but when I heard about Liam passing away I was in pieces. It's so tragic and heartwrenching when we as muslim can not even make duaa to Allah swt for someone bcs they didn't believe in Him. ALLAH knows ive left this all but the thought of anyone that I have felt love for dying without Islam is beyond heartbreaking. It reminds of Prophet Ibrahim and how he must have felt that his father never came to Islam. Those feelings are unbearable

Your first point was excellent. Most celebrities are taken in by worldly pleasures, prioritising duniya over deen. Excessive wealth and fame often comes with a price. And, unfortunately for Liam Payne, that price was alcohol and drug addiction, and poor mental health. As to your second point: indeed no one knows what tomorrow brings, and we also don't know what land we'll die in. A few years ago, a member of my extended family died drowning while on holiday, and he left behind his wife and two sons. He was in his late 30s. From what I remember, he was a good practicing Muslim. This life is impermanent, and no one knows how much time, long or short, they'll have in this duniya. Pray that Allah keeps you within the folds of Islam, and also pray for a good death. Whatever you do, or not do, will determine your ahkhirah. Don't take this life for granted.

Yes that is also written. Everything has already been written by Allah in al Lawh al Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet) 50,000 years before He created the Heavens and the Earth. Allah has given us the power of duaa (praying to Him) to ask for things that have the power of changing our destiny.

But it's comforting to know we have a choice and can repent. Some souls receive harder tests. Have I understood this correctly? @@TheYazmanian Try to look at like this. As a parent, you know exactly what your toddler is going to choose to do if you present him/her with a few options. Now that doesn't mean you want your child to choose that particular option, but you just know that's what they will choose. That's what free will is. Allah has given us all free will. He knows what we will choose to do. Not because He wants us to cause harm to ourselves or others, but Him being our Creator knows what we will do. This is why there's a Day of Judgement where everyone gets rewarded or punished based on what we chose to do.

Why
God created man for eternal fellowship with Him, but through fallen Adam , man is severed from The Source of life and Love and tries to fulfill His place with counterfeits .
