- This video is about 2020 Polaris Ranger 1000 premium matte titanium edition with eps. I go over the features and a few specs of the machine. I then show how the ranger works on our farm for us by hauling some mulch,logs and pulling the welding trailer.

I’m very happy to report that I officially ordered my 2021 Ranger 1000 eps premium in steel blue metallic. I’ll get to pick it up in late July to early August. Can’t wait to work and play with it!

Yeah it got a little over 600hrs on it now. I had to replace a relay fuse an the front driveshaft u joint. That’s about all the problems I’ve had.

This video has made my decision on which utv is perfect for me! Just enough power to haul and play. To see how he closed the tailgate on the fly was a nice time saving feature I thought was neat. I was torn between the Pioneer and the canam Defender, but I’m pretty much sold on the ranger 1000. Price will determine which package I go. I know this is an older video, but any info on if you’re still happy with it or anyone have any suggestions or comments on other units would be appreciated. I’m glad I came across this!... even though I’m alittle late to the party!
I have put 325 hrs on it an 1500 miles. No issues. Just put a roof and window on it yesterday.
@@4MRanch That’s awesome! As soon as we close on selling our old house, My wife aka “ the accountant “ gave me the green light to purchase one. I’ll post on here when I get it. I’ve watched a lot of videos and heard the back and forth between the ranger and the defender. Seeing yours do pretty much what I’ll do with mine was definitely the deciding factor. i drive a gator 825 i and now i want to buy either a Polaris Ranger 1000 XP or a Can Am Traxter.
Is the polaris quieter than the Gator?
The Gator is very loud!!!

Hi Markus. Germany is awesome!! I think it is quieter. I test drive a gator and I just feel like the Polaris was much better quality for the same price just about. The Polaris also idles quietly as well.

Do these come street legal? Or do you have to buy some sort of aftermarket kit? If so can you recommend one? Thanks!
No they are not street legal. In our state they can not be made street legal at all. In a few towns I know have a city ordinance that if you buy a permit from the city you can drive on the city roads.

It depends on your state - in Texas they're legal for use within a certain number of miles, 50 I think, from your farm/ranch because they are a UTV. Not true for recreational ATVs and such.
Are there skid plates underneath
Yeah but I wouldn’t really call them that it’s all pretty much plastic skid plate covering the whole thing.
Also, I take those web/net doors completely OFF. I just never ever have used them or see a time that I would.
I finally took them off.
What is top speed please and thank you I love it in the market for one really would like to now how fast they will go thanks

You sure that’s a 2020? Mine has open space under passenger seat. Also has small storage under driver seat. My muffler is more on the side than the rear like yours (which I thought muffler on back was for machines with heat and AC)

I was thinking the same thing, this is exactly like my 2021 and I was thinking the 2020 was a little different.

That’s why it has the muffler on the side. The xp has more power than the others.
What happened to the Pioneer?
I never had a pioneer.

No sir I did a video on a red Polaris sportsman awhile back. I have nothing against pioneer almost bought one but Polaris had a Agricultural special on the ranger for $1500.00 off so that’s why we got it over the pioneer.

@@4MRanch I have a 2015 ranger 900. Do you feel the 1000 was for sure built better as far as sealed pivot points versus grease zerks?
I prefer the seal pivot points because my sportsman are unsealed with grease zerk pivot points an the suspension squeaks even if it’s still greased. As far as being built better than a 900 that I’m not sure of I never drove at 900. I think they discontinued the 900 line though now.
@@4MRanch I agree. I've never missed a greasing and my A Arm sleeves in one spot has slop which is a sad deal for durability in my opinion. All it takes is a little bit of sand to get in and it grinds away the bushing over the years.
Yeah I hear ya and some of those zerks on those control arms can be a pain to get to unless you have a right angle adapter for your grease gun
