A SEGA Genesis mix of Saster and Kiwiquest's "GAME OVER", featuring A̶l̶a̶n̶ Tails and Lord X from Sonic (PC Port) by John-Kun and JoeDoughBoi.
I put a lot of time into this visualizer, the most time being for the scrolling background.

I find it disturbing about the fact Sonic icon doesn't change but his voice change. Tails realize that isn't the real sonic (his ears went down) but the second the transformation hit and finally the beast decides to fully show this man Tails knew "Ah s--t..." Lord X about to murder this man
Also this is the most underrated Game over remix I will ever see...
That ain’t Tails that’s Alan, the soul inside Tails.
On another note the sonic icon did change a tiny bit since the fur color darkened a little

At the last part, Tails destroys a Speed powerup box to get to the giant ring faster
if he rolls to get it he will get slower and sonic would catch him and he can't catch it while jumping cuz well he is running at light speed so I don't think that that idea can work but eh maybe if tails see it from far enough and perfectly times his jump to land at the box then maybe
@green fox Well fun fact, there is some very basic tech where you can hit the monitor by jumping right before you run into it.

I can imagine two endings, 75% accuracy or under and tails trips on a rock, falling backwards into lord x. Ultimately ending with tails dead. or 76% accuracy or above and tail hops over the rock, and jumps again into a giant ring, avoiding lord x and his old fate of death.
Another thing I imagine is in normal green hill, tails is chasing sonic. when Sonics voice changes, the scenery is full of the dead animals, then when it cuts to green hill/angel island being on fire, tails is now RUNNING from sonic, who became lord x.

@@SBX-uf3in Yes, but no. It's technically Phantasm's Sonic chromatic, but Sink's uses identical samples I wouldn't blame someone for assuming it's Sink's vocals.

lord x may be a bit quiet for most parts, but that doesn't stop this from being quite the amazing sonic pc port game over cover! keep it up!
I like to think Tails is louder because he's on the border of singing and screaming in fear

I think it’s cool but also horrifying how lord x this time has only very slight changes in his second phase his voice only going a little deeper and his quills get a bit darker, but I thought about how easily tails could not notice this if they were running together and went to the part of green hill where lord x killed the animals and his quills would become darker with the sky and his voice would have a more serious tone.

I absolutely love this, my one quarrel is that i cant enjoy the ending section blasting on my phone as much as i do with headphones due to the volume difference between the vocald and the instrumental

The good news is this song doesn't last about 10 minutes. Otherwise, Time Over wouldn't just be a clever title for this game.
For those who don't know, early Sonic games, as well as Sonic Mania, have a 10-minute time limit. If this limit is reached, your character will lose a life and the game will give you a "time over" notification.

but holy damn this is a good cover. especially the changed dialogue with the “welcome back” and the “get back here” being replaced with a pause and a tempo increase simulating the drowning theme as exe (or lord x) gets closer and closer to tails
