Thanks for this video tutorial sir. I just notice your doing the splicing and plugging/unplugging while the power is ON. Is it okay to do that or better to turn the power OFF first? :)
Safety first, i think you are referring the green LED, the system is completely off while im doing splicing/unplugging. Some motherboard when you plug the power cord the LED indicator will light up see the video 4:20 to 4:30
Unplugged, because of static and whatnot. This comment is 11 months old so you might know why now but it's much safer to unplug it before you do anything.
Yung PC ko, bigla na lang namatay, binuksan ko uli pero nagblink lang yung GPU light and di nagbubukas. So i assumed PSU has something to do with it. Nilipat ko ng saksakan and gumana naman uli but this time nag turn on siya mag isa kahit di ko pa pinipindot yung power button. Tapos pag nagshutdown ako, namamatay lang yung monitor pero bukas parin yung Fans, LED at cpu fans. If Motherboard ang problem fixable pa po ba?
My problem is that the power button doesn't have that LED light and that's all is running but how come you know that is ON is the blue LED light doent light up, it could be the cables that goes to the mother board? Thank you!!
I'll check end to end of the cable that's why i know.. There is only 2 led light and 2 motherboard socket in panel.. If you have only one LED working, you can plug either to hdd led or in power led pin

Here is the manual of the machine, the button at the front is the one that doesnt light up, that button at the front is the one that it does not have a connection.The cables that comes from the motherboard goes to a switch that turns on the machine and then the power button is plastic and does not have where to connect current, so probably the light should have to come from another part in the front cover just look in the manual and see if you can find anything.
