I knew a couple of guys who evacuated their families, while they bordered up their homes. They knew that they would be the tail-end of the evacuation crowd and wouldn’t have time to reunite with their families or find any motel rooms, so they rented a U-Haul truck and packed their sleeping bags in the truck and drove as far out of the rainfall and slept in the U-Haul truck at a Walmart super mart parking lot that was open 24/7.
I’m in zone e in Sarasota at Ramblewood Circle villa condos, please pray for all of us🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
All the lanes on the express ways outbound must be opened, or people won't be going far.
With that amount of traffic, most of the hotels and motels outside of the hurricane landfall will be booked. Unless you have relatives, you’ll be either sleeping in your vehicles in a parking lot or on a cot in a large arena with a hundred other people.

What I think is pathetic is the fact that Speaker Johnson won’t call a special session and get Congress back in to sign more funding so FEMA can help these poor people. Biden has done all he can do and more, now it’s up to Congress to do their jobs. But, the Speaker doesn’t think it’s important during an election season. Good ol’ Governor DeSantis also voted to remove funding for catastrophies like this and anything to do with climate change has been removed from his website. Now, he refused to take calls from the President regarding help for the victims in Florida. He’s a failed governor for failing to protect his constituents.

Manatee Bay is located between the Southern tip of Miami Dade County and Key Largo. The night before, that same monitoring buoy read 100.2 °F (37.9 °C). For comparison, hot tub water is usually kept between 100 °F and 102 °F. This is a direct cause of the largest Hurricane to hit Florida in 100 years.

How were big hurricanes formed before man walked the earth or long before your magical climate change appeared?????? PS Andrew hit in 92 and Andrew was bigger and stronger than this hurricane will be.
