I think the end of this video validated what I mentioned about using the same search parameters. In you review of people posting their niches you struggled to find one that passed. This seems to suggest that Amazon is completely saturated or at the least you research parameters are. I can just imagine e the hours those people spend and then they send you probably their best product/ niche and all fail. Something is off here. But I guess people do win the lottery! So there will be one or two that find success this way. Just how I see it
If it was easy, everyone would be successful. There are over 12 million products in the US Amazon marketplace, you only need to find one. Amazon is far from saturated. To be honest, people with your mindset will never succeed and continue to just make excuses to not take action or for their failures. There are literally countless successful sellers on Amazon. If there wasn't, Amazon wouldn't be as big as is it.
I can sense you getting testy because some challenged what you were saying. I said either Amazon is saturated or you method is. You did state to follow the procedure and if anything does not match then it is a no go. I would qualify that things can be different depending on someone’s budget. I think your budget will dictate what products you choose and what risk you may be willing to take. I still think if your subscribers all put in what you say and follow to the letter than all the products they find will be saturated. I think other methods like those proposed by Tim Jordan also make sense. Glad you think I will fail because I question things. I will continue to question and challenge what I don’t think I follow or makes sense. I think it is the smart thing to do. I never said it was easy, that is exactly what I am getting at it is not as easy as just putting in those search parameters and deciding on a product. I also thought amazon USA had a lot more that 12 million products even excluding books.
No one is getting testy. I don't beat around the bush and I call it how I see it. You base your thoughts on a method taught in a single video meant to be a beginner level introduction to product research. I have tons of other vidoes that cover product research using different and more advanced tactics. And no one is forcing you to do product research in any specific way. If you have a better method, by all means, do it and share your experience with everyone. The bottom line is that Amazon is not saturated. Saying so is ignorance of the industry and business. And any method taught and shared online will be saturated if enough people adopt it. That's why I said there's no right or wrong way to do product research. You need to be resourceful and expand beyond the ideas and concepts that are taught by others, otherwise, obviously every method you directly copy is already being used by countless other people. And for the same reasons, you teach people how to do product research by showing them precise examples. You can't teach people how to be resourceful.
I'm confused on the review part you said you want 7 out of 10 reviews to be under 75 but you highlighted all the reviews that were higher then 75. I might just not understand what you are saying could you clarify? do you want them to be lower then 75 or higher then 75? Thanks.
@@ethantsmith1635 The numbers have changed over the years. I don't suggest using 7/10 anymore. The new video goes over it. It also has a flow chart you can download and use.
Jungle Scout doesn't have a built in calculator. I use both AMZScout and JS for that reason, each tool has features that I want to have at my fingertips to make product research faster and easier. If I had to choose one though, I'd go with Jungle Scout.

If the product score for reselling just shows 0 can i still resell it even though it say “This product would not be appropriate for drop-shipping or online arbitrage because the label only sells this product themselves”. The listing i saw doesnt require approval for reselling.
It sounds like the product is patented to trademarked where only the brand owner is selling it. Avoid these types of products. I suggest watching this: ruclips.net/video/nI84AjkzSWg/видео.html

Always like your video! Super clear-explained and detailed. But at the end of the video why can I not sort the ranking based on some criteria? Because even I do, it's gonna sort them within the range of the first page anyways. I sometimes want to see how many new entries are there so I sum up 5 pages of result(by clicking on the top left "next pages--5") and sort them based on the date of entry (Available from) and the question is how many new entries for the past few months are counted for saturated or too many found that niche at the same time if I combine 5 pages of result? I always see a lot when I combine 5 pages. lol..Thanks
Hi there, quick question for you. Why do you use number of reviews as an indicator of competition? I was previously led to believe that number of reviews was a good way to quickly gauge the number of sales. Could you explain this to me please. Thanks
We use reviews to gauge how competitive a niche is because it's a good way to show how well the listings are doing in the niche as well as indicate how long they've been selling. The more reviews a listing has, generally, the longer they've been selling and more listings with lots of reviews means people are buying from those listings more frequently making it more competitive.
@@CrescentKao That's interesting, but I still don't understand how the number of reviews would be different from the sales. Surely more sales=more reviews?
They are both equally reliable. They both have their own set of unique tool suites that I use so if you’re only going to choose one, pick the one that you feel will work best for you.
whcih software do you prefer form zonbase to junglescout to amzscout to virallaunch to merchantwords or helium10? which is the best for nproduct reserch and which is the best tool for keywords in your opinion?
I use JS and AMZScout. I use Keyword Scout from JS. They all pretty much do the same. Not any one is better than the other as far as the data is concerned. Pick the ones that you find the easiest to use and understand and has the suite of tools that you use.
You should always try to gather as much data as you can. All the tool suites offer different tool sets. I use JS and AMZscout for their own unique tools like Keyword Scout and the Supplier Database in JS, and the FBA calculator and saturation data in AMZscout.
Hi! New subscriber here. I am just confused how to use amzscout correctly. My client already have supplier and he wanted me to check what items on those suppliers that are selling well. I want to know what to do if we already have a supplier. Can you help me?
Hey, crescent, Thank you for the value you provide. But crescent, I am facing some trouble with storage limit and IPI. I checked many videos but none of them were satisfying. Please make a video with complete explanation on storage limit and IPI. Thank you hope you'll grant my request 🙂
Kao I watch your videos on Jungle scout and AMZ scout I have both tools . I noticed in the parameters for search you never say anything about rate . What do think about rank in your parameters with the search tools and what should you put in for rank if you want to use it or should you use rank at all
If you’re referring to the BSR, I don’t use that metric. It’s not important. You want to see all the listings ranked in all departments in the search results, not by category.
Re: comment on not resorting columns, keeping the list in ranking sequence. A low ranked/high selling competitor could be dominating the market so why are largely ignoring them?
You don’t want to resort the search results because your goal is to get your listing ranked onto the first page so you need to determine how competitive the competition is amongst the listings that are on the first page. Here’s an updated video on this: ruclips.net/video/0mZNtxtmRus/видео.html
I have a great question. What if ALL the requirements are met and scout gives you and low niche score and high saturation score, would you still chose that product?
Hello Crescent! could you please tell me what you recommand a new seller on amazon fba: AMZ scout or Jungle scout with extentions ? Comparing the two methods would be too advanced for a beginner I imagine. Thanks a lot for your swift answer.
Hello. I use both tools however if I had to choose one, I suggest the Jungle Scout tool suite. It has everything you need and it's extremely easy to use and understand.
Hey Crescent !! I wonder if you could make an explainer video on who really does the packaging, labelling, making sure that my product complies with Amazon FBA terms of service...is it the supplier ? the freight forwarder or third party prep service. These 3 provide similar services. And for the ones that you recommend, should they be China based or US based ? Really need your help. This is Haris
Why the egg cooker has only 31 views in the first search which you did through the webapp and 665 reviews when you clicked on it and went to the actual listing.
Hello, does AMZScout have a customer service department? I just paid for lifetime access and can’t even access anything. It’s asking me for a google email. I didn’t use that email to pay. I don’t understand this at all.
I don't understand why we have to target for less reviews. For me it sounds like creating a want for the product not serving the need that already exist.
How competitive a niche is can be gauged by how many reviews the listings have have in the niche. If the niche is too competitive (most of the listings have a lot of reviews), then the product launch costs to get your product listing ranked will be extremely high. For most beginners, it can be cost prohibitively high. That's why if you don't have much capital and/or experience, avoid competitive niches. And here's an updated video on product research: ruclips.net/video/W5sFpD0RIaA/видео.html
Thank you for your answer Crescent! However before I can sell on amazon fba ,I must get approved as a seller on amazon. I have been fighting for 3 weeks with the registration. See, I am born in Morocco and it stops me from proceeding in the registration form as Morocco is not listed in the down-load list.....I am a swedish citizen since 50 years. I have writen at least 20 emails to amazon seller support and received as many from the support section. What i get is a kind of catch 22. Well, Crescent should I just give up? It does not feel right I think..Please ,can you help, guide me or whatever...Thanks a lot man!
Thanks for the great tutorial. I was hoping if you could explain more about a product selection process AFTER a great niche is discovered. For example, in a great niche, which of the 20 listed products is better to go after, and what are the criteria to choose from there? Thanks in advance!
You don't have to use the same method or parameters. I have tons of content on my channel on how to product research differently. There's no right or wrong way, use your imagination.

Crescent Kao Thank you for sharing information with people. Just one more question. Do you think there is still product opportunities out there? Thank you very much
DO NOT use amzscout. I purchased it as a result of this video and immediately regretted it. There are better options and one of them is even cheaper than this. ALSO when i tried to cancel my subscription i had to email them to do it and was met with more emails and questions as to why and reasons why i should stay with them. 4 emails later I am still telling them I want a refund but havent gotten one yet. Unreal. Their customer support seems like it may not be American so they are not easy to work with. Loading products when scrolling through is slow and found myself waiting for them to load every 10 products or so.. when he claims "seconds = minutes" and to use all these tricks to save time it doesnt make sense to use this. Im not a professional seller and am trying to learn like everyone else so take my word or dont but thats my opinion.

I use JS and AMZScout. I use Keyword Scout from JS. They all pretty much do the same. Not any one is better than the other as far as the data is concerned. Pick the ones that you find the easiest to use and understand and has the suite of tools that you use.
Crescent Kao do you feel is a good idea to use multiple tools and not just one? Would that be an advantage over just using one tool?
You should always try to gather as much data as you can. All the tool suites offer different tool sets. I use JS and AMZscout for their own unique tools like Keyword Scout and the Supplier Database in JS, and the FBA calculator and saturation data in AMZscout.
Hi! New subscriber here. I am just confused how to use amzscout correctly. My client already have supplier and he wanted me to check what items on those suppliers that are selling well. I want to know what to do if we already have a supplier. Can you help me?
Hello! Thanks for your support! This goes over everything you need to do step by step: ruclips.net/video/fLdPcTVkQz8/видео.html
Thank you, Crescent!
Hey, crescent, Thank you for the value you provide. But crescent, I am facing some trouble with storage limit and IPI. I checked many videos but none of them were satisfying. Please make a video with complete explanation on storage limit and IPI. Thank you hope you'll grant my request 🙂
Everything you need to know about storage limits can be found here: sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/external/XLRKWL8L5BMSHWB
@@CrescentKao video will clarify more doubts I guess 🙂
Awesome,thanks
You're welcome!
Hello, which one is better jungle scout or amzscout?
I use both but if I had to choose one, I'd suggest Jungle Scout.
It depends on the niche. For example, if it a new product then you'd expect all the listing to be new. You'd have to use your best judgement.
How much does it cost to start selling on Amazon? Thanks Crescent!
This goes over it: ruclips.net/video/aismKbh5kw8/видео.html
Hi Crescent. is there a UK version AMZ ?
AMZScout works on all marketplaces.

I'd never heard the tactic that involves analyzing dates--thank you! Quick q: Why do people tend to avoid Arts, Crafts, & Sewing?
You’re welcome! You can try for yourself and see what you can find. There’s no right or wrong way.
@@CrescentKao AMZ Scout seems to have everything Jungle Scout does.... but all in one platform. Is jungle scout just more user-friendly?
Lifetime was $199 then in 2019, today it's $1599. wowwww that not inflation, that's explosion
Here's an updated video on product research: ruclips.net/video/0mZNtxtmRus/видео.html
and also how accurate do you think AMZ Stock Stats is? do you think their display of competitor inventory/stock is accurate from your expertise?
It's the same as doing the 999 cart method. It only works if the seller doesn't have a max order quantity set.
*Nice Video!*
Glad you found value in it!
Hi, I added all the filters as shown in your You Tube video. But the system keeps coming back with a message saying "An internal error occured". Help/
I would contact AMZScout. Try logging out and back in again.
What does the seller field in AMZ scout pro extension refers to?
How many sellers there are in that listing.
What you do if you’re not eligible to sell
You can have your parents, family member or friend create a seller account for you or buy a verified account.
thanks for share .
You're welcome!
Great video!
Thanks for your feedback! I’m glad you found value in it!
Great topic
Glad you found value in it!
It’s really hard to find product having all the criteria match.
If product research was easy, everyone would be successful! Keep at it! Here's an updated video on this: ruclips.net/video/0mZNtxtmRus/видео.html
Also, i know i could use their storage facilities at fees lower than Amazon's fullfillment centers.

@@CrescentKao Thanks !!
Yes, they do. They typically reply within a couple hours. Make sure your payment actually went through?
I don't understand why we have to target for less reviews. For me it sounds like creating a want for the product not serving the need that already exist.
How competitive a niche is can be gauged by how many reviews the listings have have in the niche. If the niche is too competitive (most of the listings have a lot of reviews), then the product launch costs to get your product listing ranked will be extremely high. For most beginners, it can be cost prohibitively high. That's why if you don't have much capital and/or experience, avoid competitive niches. And here's an updated video on product research: ruclips.net/video/W5sFpD0RIaA/видео.html
Hello everyone. I'm new to FBA and want to know if AMZScout is owned by Amazon, or is it a separate company? Thank you.
None of the product research software suites have any affiliation with Amazon.
@@CrescentKao Thank you!
your ranges you use for filtering ... return me 0 results every time and i have them set exactly like yours

Unfortunately, if you don't live in an approved country, you'll have to set up a business in an approved country.
Thanks for the great tutorial. I was hoping if you could explain more about a product selection process AFTER a great niche is discovered. For example, in a great niche, which of the 20 listed products is better to go after, and what are the criteria to choose from there? Thanks in advance!
You're welcome. This video goes over it: ruclips.net/video/BIPvMeoFKBc/видео.html
With everyone using the same search parameters how does this make sense? I really don’t follow this!!!
You don't have to use the same method or parameters. I have tons of content on my channel on how to product research differently. There's no right or wrong way, use your imagination.
Damn it is hard to find a product :)
Product research is the most important part of the entire Amazon business model and it's also the most difficult. Each on of my products took around 2 months to find. Keep at it! This might help: ruclips.net/video/7hIP1hMOqiU/видео.html
Crescent Kao Thank you for sharing information with people. Just one more question. Do you think there is still product opportunities out there? Thank you very much
porfa vor espanol
The method of information search and determining on them are so poor and old....
can i be your student i m from china

Sorry to hear you experienced difficulties with AMZscout. Good luck in the future!
