- National Conference (NC) Vice President Omar Abdullah conceded defeat from the Baramulla Lok Sabha even as the counting of votes was still underway. Mr Abdullah is trailing by over 1.25 lakh votes to jailed former MLA Sheikh Abdul Rashid. "I think it's time to accept the inevitable. Congratulations to Engineer Rashid for his victory in North Kashmir," the former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister said in a post on X (formerly Twitter)."The people of Ladakh have rejected the decision the government took on August 15, 2019" said Sajjad Hussain Kargali.

These so called leaders like Sajjad and other Ladakhi leaders can afford the education for their children outside kargil ladakh in Kashmir Jammu delhi etc . But I know how the poor families are suffering there . In harsh winter all these so called leaders and rich people go outside ladakh and spend their lavish winter life in Jammu Delhi Kashmir and so on , but again the poor families suffers in harsh conditions and they can’t afford the tuitions for their children. There are so many other problems they suffers but I am mentioning only education here … so plss I request you no need to feel so hearted for these hypocrite leaders who can’t raise the voice for basic necessities the poor people facing in ladakh region. If you have to feel plss feel for the poor people there in ladakh not for this nonsense leaders who used to be absent in the harsh situation in their own region .

Sajjad sahab has great illusion of being "the voice" of Kargil, he is not. Whenever he speaks on behalf of Ladakh he should declare a disclaimer that his views and opinion are his own and doesn't represent the whole of Kargil let alone Ladakh. He has a personal, linguistic and religious affinity towards Kashmir, the Purig pa people doesn't.

Shajjad Kargili is the only voice of Ladakh after abrogation of Artical 370. How you can say that he is not. He is the lion of Ladakh and only one has the claber to speak in front of media using correct language by differentiating gender.
