I was a little disappointed. I went to the local Korean grocery store (H Mart if you have them in your area) and bought a pack to try. It wasn't that spicy. I mean, it's spicy, but if you're in an area of the country where teriyaki shops are common, then it really was not much spicier than an order of spicy teriyaki. In fact, the sauce has a lot of sweetness in it so it's a lot like teriyaki.
