But this guy stuck with his own voice and his ability, did not try to sing it exactly like Till, and did fucking amazing job! His german is not good but it's still epic.
I LOVE IT! Misha Suluxia didn't try to imitate Till Lindemann. Misha knows his voice well: mixed guttural tones, high notes, opera, screams all in a Geart metal masterpiece and managed to carry the right makeup, attire and performance. His mentor is so proud. The other judges, contestants and part of audience is amazed, disturbed, bewildered, scared, enthrailed all at once. It HAD to end up with an standing ovation.

What I appreciate (obviously besides the vocals) is the appreciation from the judges and audience for this kind of music. Anyone who attempts this style in America immediately gets buzzed. I don't understand why, as this style of music takes just as much, if not more, talent as the "white guy with a guitar" the US judges so desparately live for.

People saying this is shit, because he took another way to sing a song? First, this is a cover, and the magic about it, is that you can be creative about it, and oh dear, he nail it, this is probably one of the most beautiful takes in a song I ever seen. Yeah, indeed there are problems with accent, but this does not make it any less of a good cover. Being honest, as a Rammstein fan I think that the part he actually sang in opera would fit even better the original Mein Herz Brennt, and is hard for me to say because, oh boy, I love that song. Stop being that blind fan with the "oh it has to be 100% equal to be good" because that's not how "art" work, and if you cannot appreciate it, just stop listening to music, because you are doomed to be offended by everything.
