Bro mai khud Thapar se passout hoo . Agar money issue hai to hostel mat lena andar. Bahar PG le lo and cycle. Back gate vha mil jaega . Vha pr bhangu dhaba ke saamne piche bhi bahut pg hai. D hostel oldest hostel . Mai khud C hostel mai rukha hua hoo. Vo bhi avg tha. Yeh sabh new hostel hai

Don’t worry about the procedure they’ll be messaging you and sending you the mails through all the procedure and if you have any doubts call their contact no which is on their website i did the same. And the cutoff list for 1st round is there you can check it, you will easily get coe.

Yaar abhi toh kafi kuch banane ka plan tha but ab colleges band ho gaye hein toh abhi wait karna padega. baaki sports facilities bohot bohot acchi hein matlab almost har sport ki facilities aur equipments hein and grounds bhi bohot sahi hein.
I haven’t spent that much time in thapar offline, just a month so couldn’t explore much but with my experience there is a good startup culture in thapar there are some seniors i know who have started a startup and there is also one EDC society (Entrepreneurship Development Cell) which I’m also a part of which is very helpful if you are interested in businesses and startups.
Yep it’s fine enough like teaching experience is not like amazing but still it’s fine and you can contact the teachers and ask the doubts anytime and they cooperate with all the students.
That you have to check on Thapar’s official site as I can’t say on what basis they are taking admissions this year. But i assure you all the information regarding admission will be updated on the official site only.
Mere time pe admission fees was around 2 lakh which is of 6 months (per semester )and the next subsequent fees was around 1.6 - 1.7 lakh for the next semester and about the hostel at my time we were given only three choices to choose from and their hostel + mess fee was around 16000 - 17000 for 3 months

Waise toh har saal merit list different aati he depending on that admission hoti he par agar average bataun toh i think agar punjab residency he toh 90 percentile above aur agar outside punjab he toh 95+ percentile to be on the safe side.
If u want to do it.. There will be ways... But if u don't want to.. U won't get into such stuff.. As it is not allowed inside campus.. And student who ever do it.. Goes outside of campus... Choose ur peers wisely

I am not sure that you may get or may not get cse at 96 because last time the cutoff was near about yours percentage but i can guarantee that you will be able to get coe for sure and minimum approx fee for 4 years including all charges will be 17-18 lakh and about the admission you can get their helpline number on website as i not sure about the procedure because i have not gone through this problem so I don’t have knowledge about it.

Yaar waise mere time admission boards ke marks ke basis pe hui thi but still agar mein 2019 ke cut off ke basis pe bolun toh i think ho sakte he kyunki it was around 60 percentile (punjab) and 80 percentile (outside punjab) and according to 2020 it went up a little to 85 percentile so i think there is very high probability for you to get civil branch
In our time we got an email from thapar with a google form for asking the hostel preference and most of us got the first preference only but still some of us got second preference due to low percentage in boards. So ultimately it depends on your percentage.

Thapar is definitely not the best but one of the best. The IITs , top NITs and BITs pilani are better than thapar. You can consider it as a second best private institute after bits pilani. The average package i think is around 7-8 lakh but not sure.
