Love this game but really hate how Aloy handles now compared to zero dawn......The staggering she does after a few dodges.....The ridiculous extra animations she does after using Brace shot in particular......The worst offender by far is she CONSTANTLY GETS STUCK WHILE RUNnING ON ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING .........oh theres a rock let me get stuck on that while im in a fight
Use mostly bombs. Why not use the separated launcher? Why not attack the weak points of the enimies? Thunderjaw: Fix them with cable puller, shoot the amor plate from the heart away and then in the heart = max. damage. Scorcher: Use ice ammo and freeze him, then attack with high damage arrows or use the spear. Also important ist to seperate or destroy the weapons of the enimies.
Kinda late but better now then never. I did this challenge on ultra hard in 4 min and 30 seconds and it took me about 2 hours worth of tries. Apex scorcher is imune to freeze and if you do damage when an enemy is tied down they almost imediatly lose the tied down state. Also in this challenge you are already given a gear set you cant choose your own therefor you dont get spears. The optimal strategy is what is shown in this video up to killing the scorcher, then you just need to keep the thunderjaw poisoned while spamming bombs traps and sharpshooter arrows
Apex Scorchers are strong against frost. And there’s nothing in the fixed loadout you can use to induce the brittle state. Aren’t you glad you lectured this guy when he literally can’t do what you say, and it would be useless even if he could? You’re so smart. Just so, so smart.

Nice fight mate. Some really nice dodges and killer accuracy in there. While it's easy to nit pick and say oh, why not use this or that skill / state effect ( No brittle?!) killer fight and that was pretty fun to watch!

Weak or resistant to frost, that’s what I would’ve been using in this encounter (works better w/ Elemental Fury valor). Hitting the data nexus is great, better when it’s brittle. 😏The sling… was a waste in my opinion… giving it more opportunity to end me first. We’re unnecessarily prolonging this fight with that, on a Apex Thunderjaw. Points for the ropes, though ..obviously
Fixed loadout means no tripcaster, no way to induce brittle state, and you’re locked in to Overshield valor surge. But yeah keep lecturing on what you’d do differently 🤡
@@tim.noonan you might be right. You’re limited to a “fixed” loadout on the last challenge of each difficulty. If the player didn’t have frost ammo on that loadout, I take it back. oops lol 😅. P.s this might have been before me completing all challenges myself.
True.. I use the poison weapons to fill up the poison element then I use strong bows like forgefall and repeat from there. or just use weapons you have it doesn’t have to be that strong to defeat a thunder jaw
This is not very hard trust me on that cuz their hp doesn’t show at all and they are relentless afck. I haven’t even gotten to the arena yet cuz I know it would reguire a breaks till I get the legendary stuff
then you really haven't used stamina skills very well... Spread Shot on the legendary Warrior Bows is incredibly OP. Triple nock on a maxed out hunter bow, even a purple bow can take off ANY component on any machine in one shot, even on Ultra Hard. Sustained Burst ... SUPER OP ...... If you really believe Stamina skills suck then you really haven't bothered to experiment or even bothered to check out some good coil setups and builds on anything. Weapon skills are insanely strong. Granted many of them are pretty trash tier. But when you can take down ANY mob on Ultra hard on less than 20-30 seconds thanks to Stamina based skills, ... ... Just gonna say, please link your channel and let's see how you use them.

Thunder jaws are extremely powerful cause they strapped to the T but they are fun to fight they keep you on your toes
Even when they are strong against frost, I think it's still worth freezing them.

In fixed arena challenges you have a set loudout, you can't tie down machines with the loudout they give you for this.

those specific (black type robots have high element resistance) you gotta go for the element weak points on their body such as canisters

the thunderjaw (I think what’s that called) there a bit easy with a stronger bow the bow that you were using a bit bad for that

This game has aamazing story, but a terrible fighting play. The camera is very close to the player when fighting. Oftenly cunfuses me..
