For new beginner like me at 59 getting my first bike I’ve been really watching you upshift and downshift it’s been really helping me going out to practice today keep them common
I have a Street Glide and love it, but sometimes I'll peek at a Road Glide and admire its shark nose. I think it looks really cool, but sometimes in certain angles, certain lights....it looks very awkward. So I go back to my Street Glide and ask for forgiveness, hop on for a ride, then all is good again. :)

I am a new subscriber. My hubby switched over from his R1 last year to the Ultra SG and I am transitioning from my sport bike (Ninja ZX6R) to my new 2020 Street Glide right now . Had my first tryout ride last weekend on it. I’m looking forward to becoming one with my new Harley as I was with my Ninja. Thanks for sharing all of your insight on riding.
Queeeen! Just caught that last statement “I like seafood, but don’t like sushi” 😂 I was like that until an associate told me “you just haven’t had the proper introduction yet. I can give you at least 4 items that you’d walk away saying “I didn’t know sushi was this good!” (And NONE of them are raw items)
I have a 21 SGS black and blacked out, love this look, def prefer the batwing and I’ve had it on highway at 70 for prolonged periods not an issue. The bike gets lots of compliments. Ive owned triumphs and HD and this is by far best bike I’ve had. Thanks for the review !
Take it on the highway one time and you'll return to the Road Glide. That batwing is just a windsock catching all the wind buffeting. Food for thought.
@@QueenSit there is a big difference in wind buffeting between the RG and SG...do you agree or disagree? Not saying the SG isn't a nice bike. 😊 You've also got the weight of the batwing faring in your hands and steering.
@@QueenSit but you haven’t done a long haul on it that’s the key! Been riding Batwing and SG many years now! What a glide that RoadGlide is!! But ya if you just ride around city then SG is your ride!! RoadGlide is definitely long haul bike imo
Baggers aren’t my style of bike, but of the baggers, I think the Street Glide is one of the better looking. It just has a really clean look and is a little more minimalist than other baggers, providing what you need and eliminating some of the things you don’t. I guess if you want more storage in the console, then you’d need to step up to the Road Glide, but for me the Street Glide would suit me. I really enjoy your positive vibes - thanks for the video!

Get one. Change your glide glide up to a performance style road glide. Saddleman seat, bear trap floorboards, ohlins etc. then take the street glide and go in a different direction. All that’s left is an adventure bike and a sport bike and you’ll have and awesome “motorsports” set up
I love your “become one with the bike” statement. I say that all the time to especially new to riders. I have a 2019 Road King Special and she is my baby but I am looking at getting a road glide for my more cross country rides
Truth. First thing is understanding and respecting the boundaries created by the bike and your skill level. Second thing is learning the bike so that you are controlling the bike vs the bike controlling you. That’s when riding gets fun.

Went to St. Louis a few yrs. back. Took a wrong turn and for around 10 square blocks I was surrounded by abandoned houses. Wonder if they are still like that. Keep it cute and may the Good Lord Bless and keep you. I'll remain a chopper rider till the day I go to my reward....
Another great vid! I was able to check out an "Up Down" with sime friends in Wisconsin last year. Its a nice spot. The roadglides have my attention over the streetglides 👍🏽
I'm not worried about which one better. But yes brands matters. Harley is king. I used to ride a Honda, Shadow. I told my grammar professor, a person who knows nothing about motorcycles. Asked me now you have a real motorcycle. I had been to a lot of rallies, I'm in a biker club and have ridden from Texas to Daytona and back but it took me getting a Harley to be considered a real biker. Just enjoy the ride and do live with regret. God will give you the chance to get both or your significant other.

Man, I miss St. Louis. Great shots of the City with places to eat and ride. I have an Indian Scout and looking to upsize to a Harley Street Glide Special or the Indian Chieftain Darkhorse. Going to keep my Scout though.
Ok, a couple things,, I think I saw Bj WIlson at the dealership (I knew his dad years ago) and also, if that was a 2020 Street Glide you took home with just 1200-1400 miles on it, I almost bought that one (though I never seen it in person as I live 100 miles away).. how cool. However I decided to buy a new one, just like that one. I will say the suspension is not set well for anyone under 140lbs as the rear shock will not compress at all when you sit on the bike even on the lowest settings. I had to spend additional big bucks to correct that OEM shock set up, and now I have to focus on the front suspension, I'm not a harley ambassador and will point out that my stock/new street glide has the worse ride of any bike I' have ever owned, besides my old HD Panhead hard tail .. I also added the lowers to mine (like you have on your Glide) That keeps the highway stress down of not having to keep holding your legs tight against the bike due to highway winds (maybe you noticed)
Looking to upgrade to my dream bike, a street glide. I have not test ridden one yet but think I will test a road glide as well. There is something about those bat wings though... 🙂
If you want to compare the two bikes you should also ride a stock RG. I know there is a big difference between my SG and my wife's SG. She has stock bars and I have 12 inch bars on mine. You are comparing stock SG to your customized RG. Just a thought.
Other than those craters in our streets, how was the suspension for you? I’ve got a 14 Ultra Classic and the streets are for $hit. Any difference between your RG and the Street suspension on our roads?

I noticed your helmet is off of your cheeks a little. Is that bc of how your helmet is made or did you get a bigger size on purpose. My helmet fits a little tighter on my cheeks but seeing your helmet makes me think maybe I should go up a size ...
Try some sushi or sashimi. Just read the ingredient list and try to pick one that doesn’t have something you dislike. I hate fish, but love sushi. Sushi will shock you

Yeah they’re pretty dope. Toe and heel shifter. Toe goes down and heel shifts up

The 2020s only come with the toe shifter but we added the heel shifter
21 SGS does not have a heal shifter although you can install one if you prefer
