    I wish PMQ's was like this more often. Professionals doing their job, asking questions, giving answers, explaining their positions. Some level of agreement and co-operation on things that make sense too is also welcome. It's a really nice change from the jeering and political points scoring

    It's a bit late when Keir and the UK government played a part in allowing this situation to get to where it did by supplying weapons, providing RAF surveillance for air strikes and refused to condemn or prevent genocidal activities. It's a little bit like doing nothing to stop an arsonist despite knowing they threatened arson and saying afterwards "it's wrong"

Our unwavering support for US foreign policy is what continues to make the UK a laughing stock on the global stage, and cotinues to threaten our peace and security. It is also part of the wider reason why we fuel refugee claims and migration and why we're a target for terrorism. The UK never learns. The whole situation in Palestine was created by the Balfour Treaty, a British act of Parliament. So yes every UK prime minister and government since the 1900s is partky responsible for what's happening today.

      It depends on how high the tariffs are. I hope that the UK are working hard to turn us away from the US. They have been an ethical and financial disaster of an ally for decades now. From Afghanistan to trying to bring down our healthcare system to, Ukraine and now to this.

      Yes, partly Britain, but mostly America. The Balfour declaration wasn't great but it wasn't as bad as it's made out to be. It said that "nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of the existing non-jewish communities in Palestine..."

      You're all wrong ! The colonisation of Palestine began in the late 1800s following the publication of Theodore Herzle's treatise on zionism. This began the start of the influx of Jews mostly from eastern Europe who were supported by money from American zionist societies.

      Pensioners (like myself)are the richest demographic in the UK by a huge margin due to the triple lock on Pension increases which have left them the only section of society who have seen raises in excess of inflation for 15 years. much more than say, nurses or firefighters. They benefited from cheap housing, private pensions, property values never seen before or since, the best of the NHS, free university education, but still they want the younger generations who are struggling to feed and clothe their children, to stay poor in order to retain their free transport and heating allowance for the richer pensioners.
