OMG, you just made me soooo happy. I've been waiting for you or your brothers to react to this video! 10 out of 10 is right! Kenny was what we call a "silver fox," with that fantastic hair and beard. He was a country superstar who had huge crossover success in pop music with songs like "Lady." He mentioned it was written by Lionel Richie, whom you and your brothers listened to sing "Hello," if that jogs your memory. Please listen to "Coward of the County" and "The Gambler, and also his hit with Dolly Parton entitled " Islands in the Stream." Cheers!

Growing up my mom wore out all her kenny rodgers tapes she was always having to get new ones then when cds came out she got a set of all his cds for the house and her car. To this day it's tradition in her house when she decorates for christmas all she places is his christmas album. Check out some oof his duets with dolly parton. But other songs he does that are good is the gambler, coward of the county, buy me a rose, and the last 10 years just to name a few he has a large catalog of music. That goes back decades.

This was released in 1998 and was a huge hit! It was written by Lionel Ritchie who was also an accomplished solo artist and part of a group called the Commodores that had tons of hits in the 80s. Lionel Ritchie is a judge on the show American Idol these days. Kenny Rogers just died recently. He had quite a few hits besides this one.

As others have said and Kenny Rogers that this song was written by Lional Richie. If you want to hear a love song, Lional is your guy. I remember a group of friends were eating out and someone had to insult Lional Richie's love songs, and the rest of answered "That's why we love him". So next time you want a love song whether it is falling in love or being heart broken look up Lional Richie or the Commodores. I do hope your reach to more Kenny Rogers, Lional Richie and Commodores.

Kenny had many hits & nobody seems to mention "You Decorated My Life or She believes in me" great love songs. Had duets with many Ladies, but everyone has forgotten the late great Dottie West. Kenny & Dottie sounded great together. Doesn't matter what song you listen too. Because of bad management Dottie lost everything to the I.R.S. Kenny gave her one of his cars to use. He told her they would record more duets together. He wanted to help her get back on her feet. But Dottie died in that car accident before they had a chance. So sad. Just think of what they would of done together the 2nd time around. It saddens me to see all the great singers(Country, Rock, Pop, R&B etc) I grew up with leave us. They didnt need auto tune or loud music to cover up their voices to sing. Talented people who could sing without music in a second!
