You were right about the price ! At these times a newspaper usually costed around 2 or 3 cents !

The horrifying reality that papers don't exist anymore... Until you said something I had never realized that, now I have to hit the liquor cabinet to ease the pain.

About why your telegraphers did diddly squat: You can throw news you don't want to pursue in the trash can (top right corner of the article). This will free up telegraphers to search for more relevant news immediately since every telegrapher is linked to an article. If you leave them open, it could take days for the articles to naturally expire before a telegrapher can resume its search!

Love this Vid! You mention page 2 of the newspaper. You have to buy a second printer to get page 2.

Newspapers? Oh, a historical drama! 😅Looks very nice, thanks for covering it! I hope devs hear your suggestion and allow to edit the headlines.

This looks pretty neat! Seems well fleshed out so far. My only worry is wheather it will just be more and more and more of the same to progress once the basics are down. I hope they introduce more mechanics throughout the game.

This reminds me on a older game where you designed a magazine.
You controlled your reporters like in the sims, trained them, meet famous people and made pictures for the front and middle part.
It became pretty challenging later on since all this people wanted to party with you first and you had limited time to write the articles.

this looks lovely. Would like to see more period games, nobody has done the Louis 14th baroque or the complicated fashion eras yet because they are feart of the artwork

Speaking as a gen X person, for the love of God, please let this paper (and this game) die. It has no basis either in reality or a fun video game. The UI is terrible (like paying more than once for a Telegraph) and forced you to go down a path spending your money to a horrendous degree and not explaining the mechanics well as no feature title editing. Was a toilet odor *really* a feature of this "comfort" tutorial?
By 37 minutes when you were forced to order food you already did, I checked out. If others like it I won't protest, but this was not fun, and I tried to stick it out to the end. You are fine and funny, so know you're awesome as usual! (Oh, "liquidation" means "murder" in the game, not "sale." Also guns were known as "heaters" but who the hell cares, the game is bad.
Your assistant apparently left before I did. But if you want to make it go down in flames another episode, so be it.)

Well...it is just a beta version. Let's see what's in the future. I enjoyed the concept of it...but I really need to be able to change the headlines.

Ouch 😅 Can't make a game for every one i guess. We went with a lighter more comical approuch ala Two point Hospital and Tavern Master. Ofc the balance is way off and the focus shouldn't be as much on ordering food and stuff but thats why we run a beta. We did put some effort in though. THanks for the critic UI and UX is an ongoing process.
