As a young veteran, I finally found a band that translates my pain and sadness and fears into some music videos and this is one of them. I never thought that a music band could turn over my feelings and slowly alleviate some of my post-traumatic experiences. It will never go away completely, I know, but the great music helps enough.
They are easily one of my favourite artists and they put on an amazing show I got the pleasure of seeing them a few years back! Definitely worth the money to go see them!

I've loved many and lost too much, especially three years ago when I lost both my Mom and husband within days of each other. The night this song was released, I was sleeping in the worst recliner in a hospital because of my Dad being ill. Two weeks later, he unfortunately succumbed to his illness. To anyone reading this... Please do not take your loved ones for granted. Cherish them, because they can be gone in an instant.

After serving in combat and trying to find comfort coming home from war and what I know now about PTSD and Depression I listened to this song over and over again because I was in my room with black out curtains in darkness not wanting to get out of bed,barley eating and using the bathroom, not wanting to interact with anyone. I wondered if the sun would ever rise. This song motivated me to (TRY) things have gotten much better but I still have bad days and I just listen to the song (WORDS) to motivate me again. BTW my awesome wife got me tickets to see FFDP IN VEGAS IN SEPTEMBER 2024

This video can’t have better timing. Almost all my life I’ve been sabotaging myself, I constantly lost many people by mistakes. Last one is the person I loved most. 12 years with her and the betrayal I did to her hurts me every day more and more. Most of my friends and family are there supporting but sometimes they cannot comprehend how I feel, how I try always to fight the ghosts inside of me and how I try to improve every day. Making me stronger to not let things from the past happen one more time. They simply blame me for being powerless to just being good and not do the right things. Now by the day I decided to walk the path of improvement, self-love and hoping to see the end of this nightmare alone and not expecting anything from anyone. Keep releasing bangers like this FFDP!

These lyrics hit the spot so correctly it hurts. But it also makes focus "on the sun rising" realised it does, just a bit covered by dark clouds, some days there are less clouds others there are more. So the sun is there, some days we aren't able to push them away
