I brought the iPhone 13 256gb used midnight with 90% battery health for $300 as a birthday gift from my cousin as a first phone. It’s been a month since I used this phone and it’s honestly good! The design is very good, cameras take decent photos and video today, more iOS and app support, the A15 Bionic chip is still good and a good budget friendly phone even in 2025! I think that it’s been an upgrade after using an Samsung tablet as a device for a few years. I love it as I do use the phone for everyday use so low power mode is useful and I enjoy talking to my friends for hours on FaceTime and discord calls, browse social media, watch RUclips and playing emulator games on Delta. I'm enjoying it and keeping it for a few more years!!!
Here in Brazil, the iPhone is a very expensive thing, currently the used iPhone 13 costs around 256 coins. About 2 salaries Minimum. So if we want a used iPhone 13 for ourselves we have to spend 2 months without eating, drinking and paying rent lol. The iPhone 16 Pro Max is around 10 thousand, about 6.5 minimum wages.
I made the switch from the 13 to the 16 PM in November and definitely don’t regret it, but I will continue to go to bat for the 13 for at least the next year or 2. As mentioned in the video, if you can get a 13 with relatively decent battery health, you’ll find the 13 to be plenty good for day to day use. The 13 series was renowned for its reliability and great performance, and for at least the next 1-2 years while its still getting the newest iOS updates, I have no reason to believe that will change!
made the switch from the xr to the 13 and i’m very happy with it. awesome display and cameras. 5g is something that i have really come to appreciate as well. battery is great too.
Watching on the iphone 13. I bought it brand new from a retailer in Thailand a month ago. You don't notice the 60hz. Even if you have other high refresh rate devices. The only thing I'm craving is; a telephoto, 256 gigs and maybe a bit more peak brightness( I also use the Samsung A54 so i can notice the a54 gets brighter) ask me anything. Battery life and camera are great IMO.
I got mine in August 2022 battery life was amazing but then after 2 years it got bad. I have to charge it everyday and it takes over 2 hours to charge it to 90-95%. If you can find it brand new with great battery health then yes this phone is worth it.
My 3-year old iPhone 13 is still going strong. It is still very much capable up to this day. Battery health is currently at 82%. The only issue is iOS 18.2.1. It's buggy should I say. Other than that it's still great.
