- Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz will be breaking away from the Democratic National Convention in Chicago and hold a campaign rally in Milwaukee, WI. The Harris-Walz event will be the latest visit on a tour in which the candidates spoke to crowds of over 10,000 people at five stops in battleground states last week.

The only way that's going to change, is to get involved as a member of that community and strive for positive change.
I can sympathize with your situation, because where I live is no palace and neither is my city without its share of poverty and crime.
But I can tell you from experience that it is not reality, If you're expecting or waiting for "any leader" on the left or right, to take you by the hand and "assure" you that they are able to solve "all our problems." Seriously, if that's your expectation then you're going to have a brutally long wait, and be further disappointed.
Get up, get out, make a difference and get involved! I have learned the hard way that by complaining, assigning blame and crying in my beer had gotten us nowhere!
Try putting yourself in the driver's seat for a change, and stop thinking of yourself as a passrnger who's just along for the ride! 😉
