Exactly how my spirited driving is with my fiesta st. You don't need to beat on these cars to have fun. A tight twist road and I never go more than have throttle. Don't need to man it's a bag full of smiles

A little late to the party. I used to own a 2012 Ford Focus hatch, Titanium model. It had the horrible dry clutch transmission. It was the crankiest, most obnoxious transmission I had ever experienced. I suffered through that experience for over 100k miles. After I felt I got my money's worth of that car, I finally sold it. I remember being so pissed when around 2013, Ford came out with the Focus ST. Hope you are still enjoying the ST! It looks like a pretty sweet ride.

@@Wvcountrykid have put about 94k miles on mine since new in 2018, thing is a champ. it's been across the country twice and once to canada from texas

What exhaust are you running? (I'll check your mods list...) Right now, I'm trying to decided between the COBB or Ford Performance catback.
With the exception of my COBB drop-in air filter, my 2016 ST3 is stock. Oh! And, the WeatherTech Floor Liners! I'm thinking the COBB Shift Plate Kit with bushings might be next.

Your AFR's seem a bit on the lean side, you should be 11.5 - 12 during WOT. Can't tell if you went WOT here but you should keep an eye on that. Great vid keep it up!
AFR gauge on Cobb AP is inaccurate at WOT, at least on these cars. Best to look at logs for the real data, and usually its fine even though the AP will say ~10.

Eh idk I definitely don’t shift for fuel😂 I think it’s always said that but I don’t think anyone really pays attention to it lol

Perfect torque range, feels more fun
@@r1oot after watching this video I did some research and now I shift at 5.500 RPM on my Focus ST because that's where peak power is. Torque curve drops earlier.
you kind of drive like an elderly lady or something, one time you went really crazy and went to like 5.000 rpm and that was it I kept waiting and waiting for you to floor it and take it to the red line and do some inspired driving but nothing
