Paul Walter Hauser joins us this week to share how he mentally prepares for his transformative character roles in projects like Richard Jewell and Blackbird, while also being present, hilarious, and able to do a mean Gilbert Gottfried impression. Paul opens on the dualities he’s faced throughout his life and how he’s been able to rewrite his narrative of destructive self-talk. We also talk about our shared connection to Clint Eastwood, why Chris Farley was his hero, and how he treats acting like sport.

ROSENBAUM and PAUL WALTER HAUSER Share Connection to the Late Great CHRIS FARLEY #insideofyou #chrisfarley
Hauser is one of the great actors of his generation. Very underrated.
How is he underrated? His work is critically acclaimed.
Seriously Paul Walter Hauser should star as Chris Farley in a biopic about the late comedian. He will nail the performance and could win an academy award for best actor.
Omg YES PLEASEEE!
It's a great idea. I'm superstitious enough to believe that praising it could " *hex* " it.
Sounds like it's a real possibility now
You called it
This aged well!
Paul makes a good point at the end. To me, Farley remains one of the most shocking and tragic of all celebrity deaths in my lifetime. He seemed to be on the verge of something huge in his career - he was working on Shrek and a serious role in a biopic, among other things at the time he passed - and undoubtedly would have had a family eventually. He let his demons take him down just before his personal and professional peak, and that makes the loss doubly tragic.
Seeing this and now knowing Hauser is cast as Farley in a biopic is awesome
Rosenbaums impersonation is spot on.
Very sad but beautiful story❤️
Another great documentary would be Anything for a laugh where Kevin and the other brothers talk about Chris fondly and the impact it had not just in SNL but the huge impact he had around the world. It was so messed up that he died so young. He had so much going for him and would've accomplished a lot more in the entertainment and the non-entertainment industry.
The world has laughed a lot less since losing John Candy, Chris Farley and Robin Williams.
& I've seen a number of comedians to whom humor consists of using the f - bomb repetitively.
💯 percent!!
Farley and Swayzee doing chippendales😂
Farley was in talks to play Fatty Arbuckle in a biopic.
His brother kevin is extremely funny
Did this dude just say he believes the devil killed Chris Farley because he was too funny? I've heard celebrities say some bonkers things before, but that's... original.
no jackass that's not at all what he was saying
That's one way to take it, but I don't think that's how he meant it to sound. Spiritual people tend to believe there's a force for good and order in the universe , and another for disorder and chaos, playing a tug of war for the souls of men
In this case, the Devil wouldn't have been out to ruin him because he was too funny, but more because he was heading in the direction of self betterment, with the potential to touch countless lives through his special gift, comedy, for the better. That would've been a problem
Honestly the skinny guy does a better impression. Put him in a fat suit.
Oh my god....rosenbaums impression was amazing. Pauls....not so much. I doubt he would have got the role if it wasnt for his physique
The guy who’s playing Farley can’t even do an accurate impression
Only connection to Chris Farley that he has is that he’s fat. Only difference is that chris Farley is funny and talented and Paul is not.
