I thought first 3 games order of phoenix and half blood prince were the best games in the series andthe movies I thought the first 3 movies goblet of fire half blood prince and deathly hallows 1 and 2 were the best
BlueDiamond I would love to use emulators for a variety of old systems, but for me the main problem has been how sketchy many of even the most popular emulator sites are. In some places I'll see a particular site or resource highly recommended, but then in another I'll find multiple people sadly confirming that the downloads on the very same site are packed with viruses. I wish there was a "clean," reliable source for emulator stuff, as I'd love to play so many out-of-print games, but the sites involved just seem to be highly, highly questionable.
So surprised to see the PC version! People only seem to know the PS2 version but I grew up with the PC Harry Potter games, 1, 2, 3 and Quidditch World Cup.
I have Sorcerers/Philosophers stone for PC but never had chamber for pc. I have it for ps1, gamecube and GBA though lol After that the games were the same on all platforms (minus handheld).
Watching my childhood favourite get torn to shreds is oddly satisfying. Reminds me of when I used to fiddle around with Debug mode and fly out of bounds on every map to get a good look at everything.
47:32 "All Harry Potter games are awful" Hey, i don't know if he played em all, cause i think that Harry Potter 1 (for Gameboy Color) and Harry Potter 2 (for GBA) are amazing games. They are classic J-RPG style, and i still enjoy them today.
Oh wow, i didn't even know that there were another J-RPG Harry Potter game, thanks for letting me know. This one even looks way better than the first two ones.
You are correct. In the PC-version, there are only cutscenes similar to the movie. The first time you control Harry is when Ron is caught in the Whomping Willow.
That's the PS1 version. There are to my knowledge three different major versions (5 if you count the GBC and GBA versions), each completely different. I know this because I own and have beaten all 3. ;)
You probably have figured it out by now, but in case you haven't you can actually play the pc version on newer computers. I played it on a windows 10 laptop, but had to run it on windows xp under the compatibility issues tab
+ShiroShishi Basically, they upload raw footage during the event for those who can't watch live. Then a few weeks later they take them down, edit them to add the title cards, time stamps, etc, and reupload.
FrankiePeanuts If you can't watch it live then you can watch the twitch vods..... it's not hard to find the timestamps. I always find them just by googling sgdq timestamps, and a reddit page always comes up with them.
The biggest reason for the reuploads is because some of the raw uploads have screwed up audio. Of course, in this run's case, the audio is still screwey, so we might actually get a third upload of it.
fun run, but.. this makes me grateful for all the runs where the audio isnt screwed up. my ears are full of flipendo
Also the cutscenes were way too loud, the First Arrow Challenge for example
Wait, wtf are spiders doing in the chamber of secrets? All Spiders run in terror from the Basilisk!
Huh, I've never though of that. 1+ for wisdom
10 points to Foster
I didn't even think about that
I'd love to know what he said during the run. Seemed like it could have been interesting.
This game was the bomb! So many fond memories of that entire series on pc.
PS1 games were better IMO.
@@dackjaniels4203 Just like the movies.

"Nintendo" is my favourite spell too.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one.
This was the shit when i grew up.. Played it all the time on PS1, i miss it :(
I have the PS2 version and I quite liked it.
wecameasandys I used to play that version 2 I used to like to explore the castle

Been using emuparadise for many many years on the same system and never had a dodgy file.
@@MrGreenYeti yeah emuparadise is really good I download most of my roms from there
So surprised to see the PC version! People only seem to know the PS2 version but I grew up with the PC Harry Potter games, 1, 2, 3 and Quidditch World Cup.
ah the Costco collection
The PC version was the bomb istg
I have Sorcerers/Philosophers stone for PC but never had chamber for pc. I have it for ps1, gamecube and GBA though lol

Same
the console versions are better IMO, but I also only had the PC ones growing up
12:51 "Hi Peeves!" *AAAAAAAAAHHHH!! AAAAAAAAAAH!!!! AAAAAAAAAAHH!!! AAAAAHH!* "Bye Peeves!"
He can be like that sometimes.
bro this is bringing back some amazing deep and forgotten memories.
if the ingame audo wasn't too loud this would be a lot more enjoyable. The run was still very enjoyable to watch though
2 minutes in:
"And now we're out of bounds."
Amazing run! The graphics from this era bring back a ton of memories!
I played this game religiously as a child, It surprises me how not bad it is nowadays. The ps2 version is pretty good as well.
One of my most nostalgic games. Thanks for this!
So many good and happy memories with this game, wow time flies
Watching my childhood favourite get torn to shreds is oddly satisfying. Reminds me of when I used to fiddle around with Debug mode and fly out of bounds on every map to get a good look at everything.
31:30 I don't want to know which hair Harry took there :D
I feel like it was yesterday I was playing this game...
Or 12 years ago!
Pok3monrocks: This next skip is actually super interesting, first I am going to...
Harry: DEFENDOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
I love when they make the mic audio levels super quiet and the game audio levels ear bleeding. thanks sgdq!
DrTChops is one of my favorite people at GDQ's! The man is legendary!
16:37
*Harry falls off ledge*
"WAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
*Credits Roll* XD
11:00 harry learns fidget spinner spell
31:27 "Aaaand if I line this up correctly, I should get a hair sample!" XD
I loved playing the PS2 version as a kid, glad to see this run :)
Man, this was one of the first games I ever played, so many memories.
This game was my childhood man, it was so difficult too
16:00 "Nintendo!"
It's actually "flipendo" a knockback jinx.
+Zeldagigafan I know, it just sounds like that.
A classic my dudes. Thanks for the content
I love this game, I have such fond memories of it.
this is compacted nostalgia. i remember doin some of the speed things as a kid. like the first peeves fight
God this game SLAPPPPSS
Oh my god the memories.
they really shouldve lowered the game volume, I could hardly hear him talk
Really hope the DDR spell lesson comes up this summer
lol at how the ending cutscene in the great hall, aside from cheating to somehow win the house cup, all the tables are just picnic tables space apart
i remember playing this as a kid
I remember playing this game a long time ago, I’ve never liked Harry Potter but this game was my best friend
God that music is my childhood... Im close to tears ;_;
...Did this game get run twice? Cool.
I have the GameCube version of this and it's hella longer
Cuz the console versions were completely different lol
And very differently. I have gamecube versions too.
I fucking love this game.
this game is comfy af
This game literally took me forever to finish!
10:11 They predicted fidget spinners.
This might have been uploaded already.
Harry Potter The Chamber of Secrets game? OKAY NOW I'VE SEEN IT ALL.
Love any couch with Tchops on it tbh
Love the Harry Potter games even the lego ones haha
0:48
Sir Dwaggy Thanks man
I hate it when this isn’t the top comment. Thanks bro.
It's in the description..
I think the problem is with the balance in the game -- Harry yells too loud, but if it was just the music it'd be fine!
47:32 "All Harry Potter games are awful"
Hey, i don't know if he played em all, cause i think that Harry Potter 1 (for Gameboy Color) and Harry Potter 2 (for GBA) are amazing games. They are classic J-RPG style, and i still enjoy them today.
Michael Henriksen Also harry potter 3 for gba.
Oh wow, i didn't even know that there were another J-RPG Harry Potter game, thanks for letting me know.
This one even looks way better than the first two ones.
Michael Henriksen Well it is at least as good as the other two . Used to play it all the time back in the day.
Also the lego HP Games are great
Was I the only one who fuck with this game way back in the day?
Game's volume a little high compared to the voices ! :(
Lol it sounds like Harry is always screaming "NINTENDO"
Well done Harry.
I wish the movie was over this fast
I had the GameCube version, why is it so different.
game audio is too loud. the runner could barely be heard through a lot of the run
is it possible to get 20 points to Griffindor?
Wasn't there a part before this? Like you had to sneak through the shop and avoid the malfoys?
Yeah they didn't do the beginning... the hell?
You are correct. In the PC-version, there are only cutscenes similar to the movie. The first time you control Harry is when Ron is caught in the Whomping Willow.
how did they got it to work? i can't playe it in modern PCs
~and stay away from the chamber pot of secrets mr. Planter~
well I mean that ending is basically what happened in the movie
Memories
gamesound too loud
why is only part 19 uploaded???
edit: oh wait, it's the full run xD im dumb
btw, how does it load so quickly between scenes?
also how many people are watching? 3? that's kinda sad.. ;(
+Olivebates it was the middle of the night iirc
audio is still borked...
I remember fighting the framerate in this game since my PC was literal trash but hey fun couple of days
what's this game? I wanted the ps1 version
Dammit Dumbledore! Griffindoor had the fewest points! Can't you let somebody else win for once?
HOLY SHIT IT'S THE PC VERSION NOBODY TALKS ABOUT.
OHHH YES THE CHILDHOOD JUICES.
Did he just skip the beginning part at the weasleys with the rogue washing machines? And driving the anglian ford? WTF
That's the PS1 version. There are to my knowledge three different major versions (5 if you count the GBC and GBA versions), each completely different. I know this because I own and have beaten all 3. ;)
David Ward glad i had the ps1 version then
Anyone know how this is played? Is there a version that works on newer PCs or is it a virtual machine or..?? Would really love to replay this game
You probably have figured it out by now, but in case you haven't you can actually play the pc version on newer computers. I played it on a windows 10 laptop, but had to run it on windows xp under the compatibility issues tab
Harry flipendoed the shit out of my eardrums
the guy in the middle passes out haha
Brightness Boost would save him like 10-20 minutes of speedrun.
But like it's a pity, that he didn't do it, because of frame rate
10:30 it's a fidget spinner!
Is this oblivion?
Vortexx IKR The music kinda sounds like something from oblivion.
who new harry could parkour so well
11:10 that shape seems familiar
I had this on ps2 when i was a teenager and none of this is familiar
I thought that I heard the Tomba 2 music 25:39
I had this game for pc.
Looks way different than the GameCube!!
Look at that crowd! Dang pulling in the numbers!
where are harrys pants?
YER A WIZARD HARRY !
Harry Potter 1 or 3 please!
um harry didn't learn lumos until POA
The PS2, Xbox, and GameCube version we're way different
And of course now we have GDQ spamming all the reuploads like they do after every event. Rip sub boxes.
why DO they do that?
ShiroShishi They do it so they can have that title card at the beginning that shows up for two seconds.

Damn the graphics are so much better on pc, i played on ps1
10:30 fidget s p i n n e r
I could swear he screams NINTENDO every time..
i remember not being able to play this for more then 10 minutes at a time because i got to scared to play longer
