  • If you’ve purchased a set of new sim racing pedals, setting them up in the right way is crucial to maximising their potential.
Otherwise, it’s like buying the ingredients for a Gordon Ramsay recipe but not cooking them.
Knowing your spring preloads from your throw adjustment options and elastomers is vital if you’re to improve your performance.
After all, you don’t want to be ‘that person’ who has all the gear, yet no idea.
The pedals in use here at the Sim-Lab XP1s with a loadcell, however, the advice discussed here can be applied to several other brands, so think of this as a general overview and introduction to sim racing pedal set-up!

So this is basically a review.…. Everyone with Logitech pedal will be 😔
Even with my Fanatec CSL Elite V2 I don't have that much adjustability...

I’m having an issue where my heel is coming up off the heel plate in order to get to maximum throttle or brake. What would you suggest I need to adjust?

1st step - adjusting the heel position. Based on what exactly? 0:35

The length of your legs. Some people may also want their knees more bent or straight. Adjust based on comfort for you

No thanks! Quite happy with my HE Pros. Update would be the HE Sprints., or HE Ultimates. I'd suggest the customer Service would be way better too!!
