Nice mobiles. If I may offer a suggestion, use the Fibonacci sequence for the length of your horizontals in project #65 type mobiles. The sequence (also called golden ratio) makes it just that bit more balanced. The series goes: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, ... The next number is found by adding up the two numbers before it: In practice starting with a length of 5 or 8 works just fine. I'm using centimeters, but I guess inches would work fine as well, albeit the value quickly increases from 55, 89 which might become impractical

What grades are these tutorials for? Very cool process! I especially like the look of the copper one but wonder if the copper edges are sharp. Thank you for the details
Hi Linda, we feel nothing earlier than 6th grade for this video. Yes, the copper foil can be sharp, so that would be one concern. You could always do it with paper circles, but the balancing concept is pretty advanced, as well as the dexterity needed to bend the wire.
