      They weren't built 2000 years ago, they are far older than you think. Teohtihuacan(city of the gods) was found by the local tribes and thus used as ceremonial structures to pay tribute to these god like people (Anunnaki). All the pyramids are the same, only to be inhabited by the locals far after they were built(Maya/Inca/Egypt).
      North America has many pyramids too(St.Luis/Georgia/Florida), but for some reason the U.S. government does not allow archaeologists to excavate or bring such history to light.

    Good God, this is the kind of thing I'd like to do for a living. I've had dreams (both literal sleep dreams _and_ aspirational dreams) my entire life of finding old passageways, artifacts, hidden things and such... It's one of the greatest feelings in the world to me to find something that was previously hidden/buried. I found some old commemorative coins buried in my own yard a few years ago with a metal detector and I was so excited, I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital lmao...

      @@ismailmiah1446 I asked my dad and grandpa about them and they told me that my great-grandpa liked to bury things and this used to be part of his property and there was an older house here before mine. He was a stonemason and I think he might have been a freemason too - so he would hide things in his rock work. When he did the rock work for the church, he hid a really old bible and some paperwork about the church in one of the columns - we actually found those too when they built a new church. But I found these coins under the rocks of an old sidewalk in front of my house that had just been buried by time. They strongly believe it was him that buried them here - so I'm guessing very roughly between the 50's-70's is when they were buried - I think he was born around 1916 and died when I was 2 in 1988... The actual coins just have a picture and name of a president, the years they were president, and then a little story/info about them on the back... They don't have the year they were made on them - when I first saw the years they were president (1700's-1800's), I thought that was how old the coins were lol. They are strange and I haven't been able to find anything out about them. There are 3 of them (I feel like there has to be more but I could not find them) - and they are the presidents John Adams, James Garfield and William Harrison.

    Why do they always seem to call it a gruesome find if they find bodies. They're just people who lived long ago & now provide us a chance to learn about them.
    Now if they were ritually sacrificed that would be a gruesome thing to find out about. Although since it's ancient it's still fascinating. But again the bodies aren't gruesome at all.
    But I guess it makes the show seem more exciting. I just wish they wouldn't say it over & over & over before finally telling you what it is. That's just annoying.

Are they doing that special mapping where all artifacts are mapped exactly as they were found? Mexico is a country in I imagine dire circumstance with their economy and how much money is possible to fund the excavations makes me think corners must be cut. I wonder if like the World Heritage Fund could fund this. This must be rated among the greatest finds ever in world Archeological history. I wonder too if there might be tunnels under the Maya ruins like Palenque, Uxmal, Chichen Itza, Tikal etc and other ruins in Central and South America, and even under the pyramids in Egypt if the Egyptians influenced the Aztecs, Mayans etc. Thanks very much for creating this video Discovery UK!!

The implication being that the reference is to the great Pyramids of Giza. The FACT is that no trace of any ancient Egyptian activity has ever been found in any of them - no body, no sarcophagus, no treasure, no hieroglyphs, no artwork and no artifacts of any sort. As someone who once aspired to be an archaeologist, I really wish people would stop being "shocked" by the advent of human sacrifice in places. The majority of cultures of the world in ancient times did this. The reasons varied, but it seems logical that if the sacrifice of a goat or a cow, food animals, were beneficial, then the sacrifice of something truly valued, like a top of the food chain human, would be more beneficial.Luckily, we've out grown this ... mostly.

    This is the second video I have watched today about ancient sacred sites. The first was Stonehenge. What connects these two sites, is both contained mass graves. At Stonehenge, they have found cremated human remains under each stone. Were these sacrifices? Why did both ancient cultures construct ceremonial sites on top of human remains? Two cultures thousands of miles apart, but very common practices and beliefs.

Not only can we us it in producing electricity with the pyramid, but it will supply a source clean water for everyone. Let’s settle here then!”

      Nicholas Hunter . Of course there was electricity 2,000 years ago. It just was not generally discovered. Everyone struck by lightening knew about it. It’s fairly certain the Egyptians and Iranians knew about it....see Baghdad battery.

    • @bruhbanan1702
      @bruhbanan1702 4 года назад

      Annyai Presoski yes, there is one isolated producer of electricity that was fairly crude; if the Baghdad battery was truly a battery or an intentional producer of electricity, why is it the only one we’ve found? I believe someone either A) figured out if they used those metals they could generate the shock, resulting in pain that they could have thought was medicinal or something, explaining the spikes found near it. This would also explain the low voltage it produces. Or it could be B) just a storage container that happens to produce electricity, after all people have excavated very many ancient ceramic containers; finding one that happens to have the means for electric production could happen.
