    Hi Ryan, your videos are absolutely an inspiration to me, I found your channel early on when I first started leather crafting, I love how you touch on all aspects of the craft, from actual leather working to all branding/business aspects! I’ve been working hard on building my brand, which like you mentioned at the end is definitely discouraging at times, but I think I’m finally getting somewhere and you have a part in that… so thank you… anywho I’ll stop fan-girling for now..;) loved the video! Can’t wait to have a shop like that one day.
    Cheers,
    A fellow Ontarian crafter 🇨🇦✌🏼

    Hi Ryan, I love your shop. When you first built your shop, you inspired me to do the same. I built a great shop for my leather working as well. I dont do it as a business yet but am gearing up to do that later. I am a garage door business owner in the states. I was noticing your garage doors. You can have those tracks up closer to the ceiling if you want them out of your vision in your beautiful shop It is called hi-lift track. Also you can have the newer side mount openers installed so you can get the openers off the ceiling as well and out of your overhead space. Just contact a local garage door business and have them give you a bid to do it. I would do it for you if I lived near you lol. Just an idea for your great space. When I did my doors on my shop, I did what is called pitch of the roof so it follws the ceiling up. It is rad to have it up out of the way. Thank you for your insping videos. Damon. Hey Ryan, love the channel and the beautiful pieces you make!! Seeing you grow from being an electrician to full time leather crafter is amazing. I would like to do the same one day. I do have a question though, is it easier to do smaller thread, and pricking irons ? I set up to do 1mm braided thread and 5mm diamond chisel and am finding my bicep repair is hurting from punching and trying to get the needles through thick leather stack. My leather is also 5-6 oz. I seen you suggest 4mm pricking irons and vinymo #5. If they smaller set up is easier, I'd like to purchase from your supply site if they will be back in stock soon. Last, would I need to change to 3-4 oz leather if I made the change, or could I use up what I had? Thank you again, sorry for the novel, just frustrated that I found a hobby I have a passion for, but the bicep repair is hindering it.

    • @LittleKingGoods
      @LittleKingGoods  Год назад +1

      I haven’t used a cobra machine before so I couldn’t really tell you. One thing I know is that you don’t need a needle positioning system or laser guide. The techsew pro has them but I never use it. I turn it off. All you need is a drop down edge guide and speed reducer at the end of the day.
