British scaffolder here I’ve gotta say that scaffold is absolutely shocking especially the way you displayed those boards, you set so many traps along the way I’m quite surprised none of your guys hasn’t fallen through. There’s no double handrail you didn’t fully board out the lift, and you certainly didn’t tranny (transom)out the lift below to support the boards so all and all the scaffold is a Gappy fucking mess. If you tried this here in the U.K. you’ll go to prison for 12 years with a slapping £100,000 fine
Scaffolds don’t get judged or inspected till after completion, we are in the process of installing , if all the netting isn’t up then that means the scaffold not complete that’s obvious to anyone with common sense in this trade.
bx_mello2.0 That’s crazy every scaffold should be inspected at the end of the day, lives depend on that scaffold anything can go wrong and every scaffolding engineer is responsible it’s such a dangerous trade. And please don’t take my comment the wrong way, just be careful up there
@@yeahboiiiiiii9048 no way😂ask anyone with experience… you can manipulate tube and fitting and build whatever you want, system scaffold you are restricted what u can build.. it’s well known tube and fitting is the best way 🤷♂️
I have used this system, it's called Sterling Safeway. Was used in the UK a long time ago, never caught on, it can be fully boarded and guarded (still a horrible system) they also use Layher in NY and I have seen Cuplok in Boston
If you tell me that it is a poor country in Latin America I believe you, but the fact that it is in NYC leaves me quite shocked...many people have to die there. At least in Europe we have certain security guarantees in a job that is already very dangerous.
What's amazing is how no one has reported this to building code or OSHA, I say that to say this...everyone else is punished or looked at with extra scrutiny when an accident occurs. Yes, you may have gone so many years without an accident or fatality but when it does happen everyone else pays the price..not to mention the poor soul that was duped into thinking "this is the way". I just hope yall's life insurance is up to date. Your family shouldn't financially suffer from stupid decisions. Smh.
You wouldnt get away with this in the uk, you would be considered cowboys this could be qorst scaffold system ive seen and i work in scaffolding health and safety. Would love to know new york construction fatalities rates suprised by the usa for allowing this
Damn wonderful video was very interesting to watch in Uk you boys would be classed as handy men as this isnt scaffolding in our language Hammer and nails is more of a chippys thing and them lifts you are installing are similar to what our brick layers put up themselves must say im surprised USA has such A flimsy poorly designed system. What was the scaffold for???
Oh my God I'm going to be polite but How the f$## do you do that job half the time you don't seem to use a harness my legs are going and I'm sitting on my sofa you really do have huge ball's 😂 be f@#$#@ careful
Literally seen better and safer scaffolds in Thailand and Bali, crazy that this is allowed in one of the biggest cities in the world, the USA really don't give a f*** about there construction workers. Would get sent to jail for 6 consecutive lifetimes if we posted that here in Australia. Not a dig at the scaffolders you guys are doing a good job with the cards your dealt in that country, the blame goes to your lack of regulatory bodies like WHS or OSHA.

That’s “Abel” 😂😂 I worked that nervous nigga a few times.. goodshit tho 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 keep working safe 🙏🏽
😂
What is this scaffolding used for.
Why so many anchor points? Do you need to use more when you’re a certain height?
Every three frames high we tie then every frame on that vertical line.

Deemed as not up to safety standards in the UK

Third world they are using robots

This is madness and stupid. Not possible in Germany. Cause this kind of working, they are very slow. Asskick in Germany. Poor guys.
You wouldnt get away with this in the uk, you would be considered cowboys this could be qorst scaffold system ive seen and i work in scaffolding health and safety. Would love to know new york construction fatalities rates suprised by the usa for allowing this
what sort of bullshit is this. frames tied with rope and workers with safety hamesss without tying onto anything
Una muestra clara de estupidez laboral
That style scaffold frame sucks though past a couple stories tall system scaffolding is way better

The scaffold was used for maintenance repairs

So yall drill into the building? There's gotta be a million holes in the side ofnthar building. I'm not critical just curious
This shit and these men are an insult to real scaffolding and real scaffolders .
