One trick everyone need to notice when cross the road in saigon is that you need to put your one hand up, the vehicles is slow speed, and it help you cross the road easier. It is considered as a signal for tolerance :))
Saigon is truly beautiful, isn't it, my friend? There are plenty of places to have fun, and Vietnam offers many fascinating destinations to explore. If possible, I recommend visiting from December to April. This time of year is exceptionally stunning, with ideal weather for experiencing it all. Wishing you a joyful journey, my friend 😎
I want to go to Thailand and Vietnam, first arrive in Thailand, stay 3 weeks, then go to Vietnam for 2 weeks then back to BKK. My question is I will get a 30 day tourist visa stamp when I get to Thailand. When I renter Thailand do I get a new 30 day stamp?
@@sonder007 Agreed. I was born in Saigon So, the food was abundant with a wide variety. Up north, especially rural areas, there's not so many choices. But it's not bad to explore beautiful landscapes and experience local food and cultures.
@@passportmarc I'm not sure. I have never tried beer in the north. From what I heard, northerners like to drink draft beer made by locals and it is very cheap. Vietnam is a tropical country so they like to drink beer with some ice in it. 🙂

That was soy sauce bro, hoisin way more condense and thicker, and hoisin normally is likely opaque dark brown rather than translucent black in soy sauce. Btw, you can come back and have another try =))
@@americanoqueen513 Not sure I understand what you mean ? Gia Định was the original name, then Saigon… afterwards the name was changed to Ho Chi Minh City, to honor the revolutionary leader who had declared independence back in 1945. Well that’s what the Vietnamese tour guide said anyways
Surprised u missed the chu chi tunnels (vietnam war tour) + range firing... visit to the war museum with the old planes + even the pulitzer award for "terror of war". Anyway if u aint ready to splurge, bui ven or even general viet drinks are out due to language + their patience level unlike that of the much friendlier thai.
Im still positive it was Hoisin, but then again im filming and thinking about what to say and the next shot, so I might have put that in, distractions haha.. but I dont usually add much
In Da Nang right now. I hate the totally useless honking. Nobody knows who is honking at whom anyway. In Thailand they call these narcists "ei ham noi"

12:42 when she said the price is 200 or 300 means 200k vnd or 300k vnd. Between 8 and 12 usd which is a normal price for lobster.

I thought bit cold this months of December.
I had pho in Toronto and Montreal, not sure still the same or not, but they were like American soup. :-).
Bánh mì in Canada is good though.
Montreal has some decent Pho not going to lie, but everything tastes better when you're on vacation :)
If you want to know the authentic taste of pho just go to Vietnam, because the pho restaurants in Canada is different the original taste
