John Kucera downhill gold (WCS Val d'Isere 2009)

John Kucera surprisingly won gold medal in downhill on World Championships in Val d'Isere 2009. He conquered tough, demanding piste Face de Bellevarde which hosted 1992 Olympic downhill who also saw plenty of surprises. Kucera won ahead two Swiss skiers, Didier Cuche +0.04 and Carlo Janka +0.17
