The oceans are terrifying. I did the same flying around thing, was curious to see what they were like, went in, went, "NOPE." and went promptly back to land. I think that's a future me problem.
I was already super uneasy about the ocean in ASE. I had to have a friend go with me if I wanted to go into the water. I'm going to struggle so hard in ASA when I have to go into the water caves. lol

I also love how the environment reacts to your movements, OG Ark didn’t do that. Like when syntax was walking in the grass, it like moved with him, even when he turned around while stood still, it’s a really nice sight.
This looks amazing. Video games have changed so much. I remember playing first person shooters way back in the day and getting excited over little details like shooting thru a window and hearing glass breaking. Now we have trees swaying in the wind, cracking in rocks, baby dinos in the wild, leaves getting removed from fiber harvesting..... its the details that make it awesome.
I honestly love these first episodes. Syntac just wanders around and checks out everthing that catches his eye. Im sure he could rush to a base and build something amazing instanly. But this just pure early gameplay is so satisfying!
I wish taming dinos and knocking them out was harder. I always wished Ark made smaller tames more viable when it comes to using them for travel and attacking. Having a Tyrannosaurus just seems overpowered.
ARK has been a part of my childhood for almost 10 years now and that’s crazy. I’m so glad to see the game still flourishing. I might have to reinstall it.
Love the idea of new berries, but I'm worried about inventory clutter. An excellent fix could be crafting a "berry pouch" or "basket" from the same plant fibers used to collect berries. The pouch could have a "consume all" option and could even mix with waterskin, jar, or canteen to make berry juice. Keeps things organized and adds some neat features. I'm excited for the game's remaster and hope devs consider this! 🎮🍓

A barrel would be an interesting idea, an idea when it comes to storage inspired by a very lesser known game called Stranded 2 that has specialized storage structures, one is for storing solely stone and the other for wood, they are very deep but very limited in what you can store. Though a barrel wouldnt be a bad idea.
Oh man, everything is so beautiful and CRISP. I love the slight little changes to the scenery. The baby dinos and everything make it feel so much more immersive.

Disable auto craft is handy when you want to create various recipes with overlapping ingredients (i.e. kibbles and kibble ingredients) but want to keep control over what gets crafted. I was actually looking for that feature in the old Ark
The little things in a game make a massive difference to me. For instance the leaves being torn off and plants moving, it’s so cool to me and makes the game so real

Sweet, excited for this new adventure! By the way, you actually don't need to drag crafting recipes to the hotbar to keep track of gathering ingredients anymore, you can just right click any crafting recipe and track it. Super useful change!
I noticed in the fire it actually tells you how long one piece of fuel will last which is going to be so nice and helpful. Can’t wait for it to come out on console 🎉 also saw when pointing out green drop they added some northern lights to the night sky which is cool
After finding out ASA released, my wife and I sat and watched iSyzens 100 days, and I was like wait... Syntac had to of made vids to right?! Once I saw I had 26 episodes to binge not going to lie I shed a few happy tears (I promise Im not a baby) your just my absolute favorite Ark Content Creator and the game looks and just seems so good. So it was a dream come true to see this playlist! I hope this series goes for a very long time.
Damn I couldn't imagine that it would look that damn nice! And the AI for the Dinos is horrifying. Now you aren't able to feel safe on cliffs and rocks, that's so amazing! Not just youI've been fanboying over the small details, seeing the splashes from a Spino fighting, the rock breaking details, the bushes, how the water rushes through river/thinner waterways and interacts with building pieces you place in the water ahhhh it's just so kl :3 I kinda hoped we could make a dam lol but I doubt it's that detailed
I love the changes on farming. Though I wish we could harvest the trees after we fall them. But over all this is epic for us Ark players. An the build is so sweet

Great video! I am going to be getting this when it launches on PS5, but I also saw it has been delayed so I will also keep playing ASE, especially the Primitive Plus portion as I am having a blast in it; while I am disappointed in Wildcard’s not keeping up their promises, I am patient as I am still playing other games and ASE still has good moments for me so it isn’t the end of the world so to speak; keep up the vids Syntac!

It is really good that he didn't mess with the settings a lot. Most of the youtubers change the damage and XP settings so much that like within 10 mins they would be lvl 50 and would beat a raptor without any gear. I hate it. Good job man!!!!

I have a feeling (and going by steam reviews) it’s going to be the same as when ark Survival evolved first launched. It looks amazing for the time, and a cool idea for a game, but if you don’t have a Rysen thread ripper with 32 GB of RAM and a 4090 you’re gonna be running it on ultralow settings. Playing extinction on my Xbox One S looked like a potato running through a tapestry of baby poo color

I know there's lots of drama surrounding ASA, but as someone who only recently started playing ARK, I wouldn't mind paying for this game, as it looks so much cleaner. Really my regret is that ASA wasn't available when I started playing. I totally understand why someone may not want to pay another 60$ just to get essentially the same game. That's completely fair. For those that have never played ARK though, this seems like an upgrade over the original game ASSUMING you're playing in single player. I have my own cluster server on ASE and, again, I understand and AGREE with the frustration at Nitrado, but as someone who likes playing solo... my overall take is that I still like this game.
Hopefully the private clusters for ASA will be worked out in one way or another, it's the main thing holding this game back from building some _serious_ hype for ARK 2

Just started watching dont know if you figured this out, however irrigation is a lot more easier now, when you place a pipe in the water, it will have a certain radius zone where you can dispense water from seperate pipes instead of having to connect them all

TO EVERYONE WHO STILL HAS HUGE PERFORMANCE ISSUES WITH A RTX CARD: Deactivate the setting where the plants move around when you walk through them, its the same setting that lets trees move and makes small waves when you walk through water This is the boogeyman setting, without this i had a fps increase from a total of 30, i went from 35 average INSTANTLY to 60 average, even in my well sized base with my 10 spinos in it If you want 60 average fps, just uncheck this damn setting and sacrifice the ability to wiggle plants around, its so worth it

For me, the little details make any game so much better! Like when it rains, everything actually looks wet, and you can see the raindrops splatter, or if your character is bleeding, drops of blood will be left behind when you're walking or standing up. I don't know about y'all, but little details just makes everything better! :]

If you kill/tame the babies mother you can imprint and tame the baby without having to "KO" and feed

Enable/Disable Auto Craft is perfect for the cookpot and making dyes early on. It used to just consume the components if you put the wrong set in.

i believe that the creator of S+ is the guy that made the building in ASA. Which is why a lot of the vanilla building is like S+ now.

They haven't the same bugs are in the game from 2015 such as reloading glitch and meshing 😂

I have a feeling (and going by steam reviews) it’s going to be the same as when ark Survival evolved first launched. It looks amazing for the time, and a cool idea for a game, but if you don’t have a Rysen thread ripper with 32 GB of RAM and a 4090 you’re gonna be running it on ultralow settings.

I know there's lots of drama surrounding ASA, but as someone who only recently started playing ARK, I wouldn't mind paying for this game, as it looks so much cleaner. Really my regret is that ASA wasn't available when I started playing. I totally understand why someone may not want to pay another 60$ just to get essentially the same game. That's completely fair. For those that have never played ARK though, this seems like an upgrade over the original game ASSUMING you're playing in single player.
I have my own cluster server on ASE and, again, I understand and AGREE with the frustration at Nitrado, but as someone who likes playing solo... my overall take is that I still like this game.
Hopefully the private clusters for ASA will be worked out in one way or another, it's the main thing holding this game back from building some _serious_ hype for ARK 2

Just started watching dont know if you figured this out, however irrigation is a lot more easier now, when you place a pipe in the water, it will have a certain radius zone where you can dispense water from seperate pipes instead of having to connect them all

Just the fact that you can hover over any inventory item and press a number to assign it makes managing the main hotbar so accessible.
The new AI is absolutely amazing, once I get my PC, I’m so getting this game.
I do recommend waiting for the devs to polish the game a bit before buying, but if your getting something high-end go for it

The new berries look so odd, I wish they recolored/drew the new ones to match….. but that’s like the worlds most useless complaint haha! So excited to watch the series

The water when the carno is in it is just insane graphics and resolution.
Can you look into breeding rates… as in if you increase your setting will this affect wild dinos? If so raptor packs could be huge 😅

TO EVERYONE WHO STILL HAS HUGE PERFORMANCE ISSUES WITH A RTX CARD:
Deactivate the setting where the plants move around when you walk through them, its the same setting that lets trees move and makes small waves when you walk through water
This is the boogeyman setting, without this i had a fps increase from a total of 30, i went from 35 average INSTANTLY to 60 average, even in my well sized base with my 10 spinos in it
If you want 60 average fps, just uncheck this damn setting and sacrifice the ability to wiggle plants around, its so worth it
can't wait for the Workshop to open, I hope Lethal ports Dino Storage to ASA

cool, finally someone who understood that you have to make your character big, all run around as a small person and wonder why their tools are so big or the animals are so big, they were just way too small
Another cool detail I just noticed at 15:00 Not sure if it's mentioned later, but note the grass that he placed the foundation over disappeared. No more annoying grass clipping through the floor!

The game looks absolutely beautiful but i hope they patch the preformance issues. I hate having to play on medium with such a good GPU and some people cant even run the game!

The same bugs from 2015 are in the game after they "rebuilt the code" so hopefully that's fixed
There is nothing about the game excites me, but i am excited to see you play it
For me, the little details make any game so much better! Like when it rains, everything actually looks wet, and you can see the raindrops splatter, or if your character is bleeding, drops of blood will be left behind when you're walking or standing up. I don't know about y'all, but little details just makes everything better! :]
Good ol' Unreal Engine doing all the heavy lifting to make you think they put any effort into this game and take another easy $40 out of your pocket.
