A special FIS World Championship Weekend throwback. As the skiing community heads to Vail / Beaver Creek we dug into the archives to bring downhill fans this retro clip from the 1985 FIS World Championships in Bormio, Italy taken from our film "Dreams Of Glory."
Today's athletes were still waiting to get their first set of skis while Swiss legend Pirmin Zurbriggen dominated the course that year & American Doug Lewis took home third.
