I was one of the few of our large family of 16 to get to go with my Mama to the store. I always got to pick a treat eat on the way home. Shopping with my Mama taught me how to shop today. I plan my meals and shop accordingly. Not all my siblings picked up on that. Its nice to see all the little ones so happy to go shopping.

Hello! One idea for semi-homemade cookies is making them from cake mixes. There are recipes online and it’s usually just adding eggs, oil or butter, and water (plus desired mix-ins). They turn out really well and are a very economical option if you get the cake mix on sale. I’ve always been a cookie from scratch mama, but these are a great option that is tried and true for me and the cookie eaters in my life!
Amber , our Costco in Oklahoma sell a huge bag of Power Greens in the cold storage room that are great in smoothies and soups and can even be steamed and frozen. Very nutritious and cheap ❤
