One night at the beginning of Covid time I was at the airport of instanbul. I had no idea about my next fly and where I had to go....I met two Americans but I couldn't really understand even if I could speak for hours....I was very afraid to remain in Turkey...... Today after a couple of years with Grant I can travel around the world without any doubt and with great confidence

To be honest, for about a year or more I have been trying to learn the English language on my own at home. I am making progress, but it is very slow. How many hours should I listen a day so that I can speak freely?
Congratulations on your motivation and the amount of work you are putting in. My advice is to look around your home and speak about everything you see. Become very confident with the English words for everything you see in your home and then make sentences and stories about those things. BUT, the key is for you to say everything OUT LOUD. Stop learning and start "DOING." It works.
