Grading Tamworth's August in the National League ✍️

Well, it’s safe to say none of us were expecting the 7-0 thumping Tamworth received at Barnet on Saturday. The result meant the Lambs ended August in the National League relegation zone.
We look back on an away day to forget and review the month of August as a whole, each giving our grades for how we think Tamworth did.
It’s the small matter of second-place Eastleigh away next up for the Lambs. We look ahead to the game and make our predictions.

We just have to be honest that we were totally outclassed for the second time this year already. We cannot continue to start games with a lone striker because we cannot hold the ball up in the opponents half, to give the defense time to take a breather. Next week will sadly be more of the same and heads will drop at some point. The Sutton and Hartlepool results look really poor now. These are the type of games where we need to secure more points and there is still a long way until the end of the season. Learning quickly is the key.
