Scarlett is never able to completely answer a question because Tyra keeps cutting her off and asking a new question. I don't think Scarlett had a fair interview and got her message across. Tyra is a horrible interviewer, but I am glad that Scarlett got the help she needed and is doing better. I always loved her character on Reba
Scarlet handles those question absolute perfect. I can’t imagine how difficult this was. She was in a very vulnerable place that fresh out of treatment. As someone how has an eating disorder this was amazing to watch. I am so proud of how she handled this, I can’t say that enough. There were many questions that were asked by Tyra that are potentially very triggering.
Tyra interrupts too much. Why bother doing an interview when your priority is hitting your own personal talking points? It's one thing to ask questions to gain clarification but another to disrupt her attempt to answer to do your own monologue.
dayzgone I disagree. To me it felt more like the show was doing its best to work around Scarlett’s absence by focusing on other characters during season 5. It’s possible that the writers developed scenes or storylines for Kyra that they had to scrap once Scarlett left for treatment, forcing them to rework episodes to feature Jake, Van and other characters more prominently. Whatever the case, I doubt Scarlett would have been able to continue working on Reba while in rehab. Imagine trying to balance learning lines and filming scenes for a TV show with recovering from a serious illness - it wouldn’t be easy, to say the least.
This host's interruptions are her trying to be relevant, but she should just let the guest speak. I find her line of questioning to be inconsistent, and her responses immature. Never watched this show before, is it still on the air? I would be surprised if it is. Or, maybe not.
I don’t like this this interview... They make it like you HAVE to be skinny to have an eating disorder... The weight is the side effect not the reason for it. It’s very complex.
Jessica Michelle There was an interesting video by a girl whobwas ovetweight yet starving herself existing on one apple for the whole day. She said when you are overweight and people see you eatingvjust an apple they applaud you for your self control! Even people who are slighty overweight can be starving themselves and are in serious danger yet no one sees it because anorexia is a "thin" disease.
That's exactly what I thought. It has something to do with the jaw & facial bone structure. When I see this look I say to myself, that's not a German or Scandinavian look...that's a classic English look.
I've never met someone so full of themselves. She's like this in real life too. Also, KYRA!!! Awww, I miss 'Reba'... Lastly, Tyra is always so dramatic. Yes this is a serious subject but watch anything with Tyra and you'll notice two things. First, it's all about TYRAAAAA!!! And that she's always dramatic.
It's a shame because before her battle with anorexia she was turning into a beautiful young woman. But now you can just see it in her face and her body she's so thin I don't think her body will ever recover from it
Women look better when they are not so skinny. Curvier, sexier and healthier. I understand it's how they see themselves but I know I prefer women that look like women. Just look at all those old paintings and sculptures, that's the natural form and that should be the standard if there MUST be a standard. Scarlett should hand out with more Puerto Ricans and black people!
Yes! I remember in my speech class, my teacher saying that using space fillers are not necessary, if you need to think, take the time. It's okay to be silent! Lol, I had to stop watching...
I counted over 40+ in all.and yes tyra was horrible with this interview.I was offended when the question was asked of her how her illness began and Scarlett didn't feel comfortable describing or possible given other ideas how to get startd, it was respected or enough for tyra and she let that show.REALLY REALLY HORRIBLE INTERVIEW.ijs
The diet is just a tool used to reach the same goal all anorexics aim for. Simple diet may seem casual enough, especially to lead to such devastating results provided by anorexia but really, whether it starts with a small diet and leads to an ocean or is born out of incomparable disparity from day one, it's really as disparity nonetheless, leading to the same destination.
C. Willock the criteria for anorexia: Persistent restriction of energy intake leading to significantly low body weight (in context of what is minimally expected for age, sex, developmental trajectory, and physical health) . Either an intense fear of gaining weight or of becoming fat, or persistent behaviour that interferes with weight gain (even though significantly low weight). Disturbance in the way one's body weight or shape is experienced, undue influence of body shape and weight on self-evaluation, or persistent lack of recognition of the seriousness of the current low body weight. I'm not suggesting you don't have an eating disorder, but whatever you are suffering from is not anorexia.
Sounds like the comment section needs to start their own show. Their comments is their way of cutting Tyra off. She should do an episode on people projecting onto the RUclips screen.
She came to a clinic I was at and she was so nice and wonderful. She spoke about her battle with Anorexia. I hope she's doing well.
Was she nice
@@linareese7841 they literally said she was nice in their original comment
she is so beautiful and her hair is just gorgeous.

Agreed
I think an interview with Tyra is more of an interview of Tyra.
Totally agree.
Good job Scarlett on Not responding to Trya when she asked what you did when you were anorexic. Good JOB!!!!!!
love how tyra always turns everything someone says into a story about herself
It's her show. So? Lol
@@wisnow1216 is also narcissistic and a bad form of interviewing

She’s such a sweetheart.. so brave of her ❤

ugh tyra... let her speak!
Can Tyra shut up about her life and listen to Scarlet?? How annoying. She's so used to being a model that she can't let Scarlet be the star here!
Yeah I agree ❤
Tyra sickens me!
that would explain why she wasn’t present throughout season 5
May God keep her strong, healthy & brave!
What the hell's with the shadowing??

Tyra the yapper
does Tyra ever let someone finish a sentence?
Lol I remember my sisters and I would watch Trya after school. Seems like eons ago now
Wow Tyra is all about herself! She is a terrible interviewer!
So that's why she was absent throughout the remainder of season 5 of Reba
dayzgone was just reading about it. They asked her to leave to get help, because she was refusing it at the time.

Tyra is sooo overbearing....
This is so sad ;^;
no gosh I wish i had just started doing this because of a "diet". Not at all how it starts for most people, i think.
