Chris recently went to my college and performed a show for over hundreds ! This guy is 100% real and I can vouch for him as I almost got hypnotised myself. I would have pulled threw with it if my mind didn't keep fighting it , my arms and legs were shaking and I just had enough and sat down. He literally hypnotised my class mates and was mind blowing experience. Would pay thousands to see him.

hey people if you're a judge of a contest, the #1 rule is you CAN'T be hostile to the contestants. Buble was not only not willing to be hypnotized, but was actively hostile towards the guy. Now, let me bring some truth to the matter. It's a reality show, worth millions of dollars. They didn't want him anyway. All of a sudden the judges were ALL hostile, when the week before, they could eat butter off his butt. Why? Because he hypnotized Howie to shake hands. Think on that for a second. You CAN'T hypnotize people to do what they DON'T want to do. consciously Howie clings to germophobia. subconsciously, he knows he won't die from shaking hands. But everyone was offended FOR him. So Jones comes on this week and boom everyone thinks HE is the bad guy, when in fact, Howie had 2 minutes of being normal. Jones is the real deal and no one wants the real deal, esp not hollywood.

Chris is a real hypnotist though, my whole body relaxed and i was on the verge of falling asleep just hearing his voice in the first video. It was so freaky but so cool lol.

I feel like his mistake was doing it too fast this time because of their comment on the first act that his build up was too slow although it worked, so this time his mistake was he got caught up in what they told him to change in his act and so he didn't take time to make sure Buble got hypnotized. What made it worse is that they wasted his time and his chance because Buble pretended to be hypnotized. He should've spent that time in making it work. That's why Chris got mad. I'd be frustrated too.
Buble gave Chris a false response, and it screwed him over. I do think Chris was pretty cocky for assuming he can hypnotize anyone that fast. But he also probably wasn't thinking Buble would be an asshole. He probably thought he'd be kind.

At the end of the 1st audition all the judges seemed very convinced and liked this guy, but at the beginning of this Howard was already looking unimpressed, he had this "wtf" expression on his face since the very beginning, while during the last audition he said "I could watch you all day"... So what even happened? And mel B also looked like she didn't buy it when she was on the stage... Hmm

From what I understand, hypnotism doesn't work for everyone and many are just downright skeptical of it (both Buble and Mel B). Buble really destroyed this guy's chances though. He should've been up front with his doubts in the first place and had someone else go in his place. That said, Jones acted pretty childish once things didn't go his way.

I have to say it. Chris Jones is one of the best Hypnotist I've seen. For those who haven't seen his shows, some are here on youtube. I have laugh so hard with the people he puts under. His shows are funny and the people on stage and audience really looked like they had a great time. He didn't get a fair chance here. Seems like the point here was to embarrass him would wide for what he did to Howie.
Hypnotism puts you into a state where u zone out and only focus on the hypnotist's voice. He makes you relax and opens your mind to any suggestion and encouragement. The two elements mix together to basically control your mind. However, it's completely voluntary you have to allow the hypnotist to enter your mind. That why everyone thinks it's fake because they think it's forcing you when really you have to do about 80% of the work by opening your mind and listening closely to the hypnotist
my opinion here is.. i think howie was so upset that he want chris to be disqualified and that's what happened. maybe the admin told chris about what will going to happen or maybe not.
That's rude his act the first time was amazing and blew me away! I'm sad I couldn't see more. That's so frustrating when people don't take you seriously.
FYI, they were never going to send him through the the live shows after what he did to Howie. They just had to have him back on TV, since the audience at home would be asking why he wasn't in judge cuts. Similar thing happened a few years prior to this with a guy who had a stutter from an explosion during his time in the army, but he could sing perfectly with no stutter. Apparently he was faking the stutter, but they only found out after the initial audition aired. So when it came to Vegas/Judges Cuts they just featured a 15 second or so clip of him getting eliminated.
Whenever I've seen a hypnotist perform, they always make sure their participants believe in hypnosis and are comfortable going along with it. I do believe Chris Jones was responsible to make sure the volunteers he chose would follow his instructions. It took a while for him to hypnotize Howie; I feel like he didn't put as much time in as needed.
Yeah hypnosis is difficult 😕 only 40% of people are good hypnotic subjects, and they have to be fully willing to participate. He had no real way of knowing who to choose (because he couldn’t practice with the subjects in advance) and ended up choosing 2 people that aren’t good subjects 😭 I FEEL SO BAD, HE WAS SO UPSET “I love hockey” One minute later: “I actually don’t like hockey at all” & he looked like he was going to cry! I woulda just had a panic attack and cried on stage

You have to be open to suggestion and willing to let someone hypnotize you. He shouldn't have played along if he was going to break out of it. I mean, Howie has OCD and you can see him really worried and really upset when people try to touch him in other videos so the fact he willingly shock not just one person's hand but multiple people's hands shows it was real. A hypnotist came to my school's graduation party and my SUPER shy friend went up and not only randomly pretended to surf but fell out of a chair on stage. He called up thirty people. Of them 15 had nothing happen. Of the remaining 15 he send seven back to their seats because they were faking. Some people want to play along as a joke or to burst out like Buble did to show it "isn't real". I don't blame Buble though, at least not entirely, clearly neither he or Mel understood what he was intending to do, so he was just trying to be funny and skeptical without realizing the harm it would do to this guy's chance.

I just noticed that Mel and the guest judge are the rudest judges in America's got talent. Because they don't follow up the rules (or at least the rules that will keep them safe). For example, if a contestant will perform a dangerous stunt, but requires an assistance, and all the assistance has to do is only ring a bell from a distance. Mel will stubbornly refuse for a while (just like this when she was not listening) and/or might do something far unexpectedly more dangerous or reckless than it should be. While the guest judge follows along until the last moment. I would be nervous if I was the assistance, but I would not be scared and utterly refuse to listen and panic.

What Bublé expierenced was a common thing that happens who don't want to get hypnotized. After the hypnotist manages to make them "sleep", they often wake up a bit later without having memory of having been asleep, so they think it didn't happen
the problem he had is that he was cocky. he assumed hynotism works on everyone. it takes a particular mindset to avoid hypnotism and a particular mind to give in. he went too fast. he didn action it. he just snapped and assumed it would work. simply put he got lazy.
It only works if you are willing to try. But Chris was also very cocky because he thought he can hypnotize anyone he wants in a short time, when it varies by people. Though I bet he thought Buble would be nice person and would be willing to try, so he can't REALLY be blamed either I guess.

Chris is a real hypnotist though, my whole body relaxed and i was on the verge of falling asleep just hearing his voice in the first video. It was so freaky but so cool lol.

In fact, you need to be willing to be hypnotized to be able to enter the hypnotize state. Howie was being cured from his phobia for mere minutes, and in reality hypnotize can be a great treatment to metal disorders. That guy is a real deal and Buble was a fucking asshole.

This guy came to my school and hypnotized a ton of people. What he does is legit; the people just have to be willing to participate.

I've seen Chris live twice and he is incredible!!!
I feel like his mistake was doing it too fast this time because of their comment on the first act that his build up was too slow although it worked, so this time his mistake was he got caught up in what they told him to change in his act and so he didn't take time to make sure Buble got hypnotized. What made it worse is that they wasted his time and his chance because Buble pretended to be hypnotized. He should've spent that time in making it work. That's why Chris got mad. I'd be frustrated too.
Buble gave Chris a false response, and it screwed him over. I do think Chris was pretty cocky for assuming he can hypnotize anyone that fast. But he also probably wasn't thinking Buble would be an asshole. He probably thought he'd be kind.

At the end of the 1st audition all the judges seemed very convinced and liked this guy, but at the beginning of this Howard was already looking unimpressed, he had this "wtf" expression on his face since the very beginning, while during the last audition he said "I could watch you all day"... So what even happened? And mel B also looked like she didn't buy it when she was on the stage... Hmm

He should've had audience members who had been hypnotized before raise their hands, and then have a judge select 2 of them randomly to participate. From what I understand, hypnotism doesn't work for everyone and many are just downright skeptical of it (both Buble and Mel B). Buble really destroyed this guy's chances though. He should've been up front with his doubts in the first place and had someone else go in his place. That said, Jones acted pretty childish once things didn't go his way.

Mel B was not helping and being a c*nt from the moment she got on the stage and Buble faked when if he hadn't there was still a valid possibility of Chris being able to relax his mind and still hypnotize him. I have to say it. Chris Jones is one of the best Hypnotist I've seen. For those who haven't seen his shows, some are here on youtube. I have laugh so hard with the people he puts under. His shows are funny and the people on stage and audience really looked like they had a great time. He didn't get a fair chance here. Seems like the point here was to embarrass him would wide for what he did to Howie.
Hypnotism puts you into a state where u zone out and only focus on the hypnotist's voice. He makes you relax and opens your mind to any suggestion and encouragement. The two elements mix together to basically control your mind. However, it's completely voluntary you have to allow the hypnotist to enter your mind. That why everyone thinks it's fake because they think it's forcing you when really you have to do about 80% of the work by opening your mind and listening closely to the hypnotist

FYI, they were never going to send him through the the live shows after what he did to Howie. They just had to have him back on TV, since the audience at home would be asking why he wasn't in judge cuts. Similar thing happened a few years prior to this with a guy who had a stutter from an explosion during his time in the army, but he could sing perfectly with no stutter. Apparently he was faking the stutter, but they only found out after the initial audition aired. So when it came to Vegas/Judges Cuts they just featured a 15 second or so clip of him getting eliminated.
Whenever I've seen a hypnotist perform, they always make sure their participants believe in hypnosis and are comfortable going along with it. I do believe Chris Jones was responsible to make sure the volunteers he chose would follow his instructions. It took a while for him to hypnotize Howie; I feel like he didn't put as much time in as needed.

Yeah hypnosis is difficult 😕 only 40% of people are good hypnotic subjects, and they have to be fully willing to participate. He had no real way of knowing who to choose (because he couldn’t practice with the subjects in advance) and ended up choosing 2 people that aren’t good subjects 😭

No it's not. To some people hypnotizing doesn't work. And since Buble was pretending he was it gave the Chris guy a unfairer chance. If Buble said at the start that he didn't want to be hypnotized, he could've said and Chris could've done it with someone else. You have to be open to suggestion and willing to let someone hypnotize you. He shouldn't have played along if he was going to break out of it. I mean, Howie has OCD and you can see him really worried and really upset when people try to touch him in other videos so the fact he willingly shock not just one person's hand but multiple people's hands shows it was real. A hypnotist came to my school's graduation party and my SUPER shy friend went up and not only randomly pretended to surf but fell out of a chair on stage. He called up thirty people. Of them 15 had nothing happen. Of the remaining 15 he send seven back to their seats because they were faking. Some people want to play along as a joke or to burst out like Buble did to show it "isn't real". I don't blame Buble though, at least not entirely, clearly neither he or Mel understood what he was intending to do, so he was just trying to be funny and skeptical without realizing the harm it would do to this guy's chance.
the only reason mel b and the other guy were not able to be hypnotized they believed they couldn't. if they believed they could be hypnotized, it would have worked. i honestly think Chris is a wonderful hypnotist.
I hate that when people say that Buble ruined it everybody is all "He didn't ruin it. It's not his fault he can't be hypnotised" It may not be his fault that he can't be hypnotised but it's his fault for not warning Chris and saying to pick someone else as it may not work on him. That, my friends, was a dick move. Even if you don't believe that hypnotism is real, that's fine but honestly seeing Howie shake hands time and time again that indicates that he has talent! But it's the fact that Mel B, for example was immediately not into it and showed that so then Chris didn't have to waste his time while Buble faked it and then kind of blew his act as everyone thought Buble was hypnotised. He embarrassed Chris. Even if he did apologise it wasn't right and it did kind of ruin his act because you don't fake it like that.

I just noticed that Mel and the guest judge are the rudest judges in America's got talent.
Because they don't follow up the rules (or at least the rules that will keep them safe).
For example, if a contestant will perform a dangerous stunt, but requires an assistance, and all the assistance has to do is only ring a bell from a distance.
Mel will stubbornly refuse for a while (just like this when she was not listening) and/or might do something far unexpectedly more dangerous or reckless than it should be.
While the guest judge follows along until the last moment.
I would be nervous if I was the assistance, but I would not be scared and utterly refuse to listen and panic.

What Bublé expierenced was a common thing that happens who don't want to get hypnotized. After the hypnotist manages to make them "sleep", they often wake up a bit later without having memory of having been asleep, so they think it didn't happen
the problem he had is that he was cocky. he assumed hynotism works on everyone. it takes a particular mindset to avoid hypnotism and a particular mind to give in. he went too fast. he didn action it. he just snapped and assumed it would work. simply put he got lazy.
