But after watching this video I have become very positive and happy to know that they're leading a very good life. What makes me like about this Country is their culture. The positivity I see through this video is amazing... I hope that now people are gonna see the good side of this ritual and not gonna comment negatively

This ancient practice making a child, another human being into some sort of goddess is paganism and the worst thing that you can do. It would have been great if the Muslim brother explained the severity of joining with Allah with partners and that Allah will punish them severely. The child is innocent as she has been robbed of her childhood. She was given to her parents in trust and they allow others to do this to them. May Allah protect our children from these evil cults

Wearing hijab doesn't stop a man from rap*ng those women anyway
For a fact we know it's not a choice it's restricting you from being the way you want
Child marriages, FGM, triple talaq and marriage period based on consummation is a ridiculous and a very ungodly concept
We know be it cultural or not your prophet does not oppose it
If you can't leave a religion, can't criticise it or can't stop believing in God or his so called science phenomenons idk what else do you call a cult
Not to mention the disregard of Christianity, quraysh idols and Judaism says alot
I can go on and on
Without understanding other religion if your gods asks for you to break idols even though he knows that people don't worship the idol but use it as a medium to pray just like your "kaaba" or instead of waiting for Ayesha to come of marriageable age, or abolishing adoption even when god would know just how helpful and gracious deed it would be to help homeless kids, or uh uh saying that if you wont have s*x with your partner then the angels would curse you, or that little bit of domestic violence is alright
Do you really think you are following a religion? Are these thoughts making you a better person? Is this not a cult? Damn nah Allah says so 'be' it

Not every girl can become kumari
    It's really thought
First she need to be from Shakya Caste
Then the astrologers will look at the horoscope of the girl. If auspicious combination are found then she will be checked for any deformities and disease in body
If a girl passes all these test then she will be choses as the next kumari (generally age 3-5), the day the kumari starts to mensurate or shows some unsuspicious signs like some dark spots on her body then she is replaced by new one
So in nepal the tradition of kumari started in malla period 1200-1769 CE
There were 3 kingdoms in Nepal (kathmandu valley at they time), so still there are 3 major kumaris from the 3 kingdoms / now cities: Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur
The kumari of Bhaktapur has no major role other than in a the Navaratri 9 day goddess's festival of Oct/Nov. Other days she is like a normal child, goes to school and does regular things.
The kumaris of Kathmandu and Lalitpur has some complex roles in rituals, so their lifestyle is little different.
The kumari of kathmandu (being capital city), she is the one you see mostly on internet. She is present in the Indrajatra festival which happens in Jul/Aug.
Kumari of Bhaktapur is not known by many, she is show in this video, newly selected in 2022.
Kumari is embodiment of the goddess. The girl chosen as Kumari must have very auspicious yoga's in her hororscope , must be from Shakya/Vajracharya caste. Not anybody can become kumari, it's like the chosen one, is some one even from shakya clan wishes to become next kumari , if she doesn't have auspicious combination in her horoscope she cannot become kumari

The way you portrait culture from different regions of the world,it's very uncommon, you are a living example that you don't really need to forget your religion but to respect each and every religion...you really need to be proud for this...

Khalid, you did a great job in this video.
You tried to know what Kumari does in her private life and presented as it is and didnt form a opinion about it or presented it in a negative light.
    Really appreciate your efforts.
