@@Patrick-bw7kr When the 190E came out in 1982, Cosworth made the 2.3L 16V engine for Mercedes. In 1988 that engine was replaced by a 2.5L one. When Mercedes started racing in the DTM they had to make a road version for it. There were 2 Evolution versions made. That in the video is the Evo I, with small widened fenders, a front splitter and spoiler. Of course there were performance upgrades too, brakes, suspension, etc. Plus, there was an extra package from their good friend AMG for around 10000 euros which gave the car 20 extra HP (from 204 to 224), some other stuff and a new exhaust. A pretty good deal right? The 190E Evo II came with 234 ponies under the hood, had a wide bodykit, adjustable spoiler, roof spoiler, height adjustment with a switch inside of the car and new set of wheels. 500 all dark blue, but it’s actually black + 2 silver which only Mercedes has) and was made the same year/ around one year after the end of production of the first one, due to the extreme demand. I don't love everything about Porsche or specifically 911s but I do love the fact they aren't afraid to paint their car silver with black accents and tires and then have aluminum (unpainted) rims. Instead of all the flashy shapes and exotic colors you see on so many hyper cars today, they're like, nah we'll just let it's performance do all the talking.
